Just a though:
RAIDERS DUMP MIKE WILLIAMS
An industry source tells us that the Oakland Raiders have parted ways with receiver Mike Williams.
Williams, the tenth overall pick of the Lions in the 2005 draft, had been a major disappointment during his time in the NFL. He was traded in the 2007 offseason to the Raiders, and some thought that the reunion with coach Lane Kiffin, who worked with Williams at USC, would turn his career around.
It didn't, and so Williams is done.
He'll be subjected to the waiver system. If he clears waivers, he'll be free to sign with any team.
Williams initially was headed to the draft in 2004, by virtue of the trial court ruling in the Maurice Clarett litigation. But because Williams hired an agent before the Clarett case was reversed, Williams was not permitted to return to USC. He entered the 2005 draft after sitting out a full year of football.

The Raiders have a bunch of nobodies at WR, and they still dumped him? That says plenty.

Hell, I would take Ronald Curry in a second. That guys has good speed, great hands, and knows the game inside out. He was a QB at UNC.

its not our recievers, its the routes they are running when they are running them. however i would like to pick up a taller guy, so that we dont have to keep using only cooley to pass to in the endzone.

He's overweight and lazy.
We should definitely sign him.

Not THE Mike Williams? The guy we didn't draft, who hasn't done anything?

We've got six WR now with no TDs why add another one

Why not....there is a bit of tongue in cheek here. I figured some guys would be all over this.

We have to be the only team in the NFL without a td to a wide receiver.

why not, we might as well give it a shot. send BL over there i mean if were not going to use him than why do we have him. i like BL but enough is enough. this tall reciever would give campbell more options once we get into the redzone.

I agree , at this point our recievers have been a bust. As long as we dont break the bank to bring him in. He is at least worth a shot.

Get a solid front line.......and we WONT have to use

ey to block.

ey needs to be out in space, catching passes.
