Regions where local coverage of Jaguars at Buccaneers and Bills at Jets will be broadcast by another network. No Redskins @ Pats Fox coverage there.

One thing is for sure. It won't be an understatement to say that the Redskins "Shocked the entire nation", should they get the "W". Good luck, Hogs.

This is typical for me this entire season. There is only one game I would've missed without my Sunday Ticket. That's a poorly spent $250 or whatever it cost me....UGH!!!!!

Actually, make that 35 years. The last time the Pats defeated the Skins was Oct. 1, 1972. It was one of the three (11 - 3 ) losses that George Allen had that year when we went to the Supper Bowl against the Fins. And Tom Brady has never defeated the Redskins. Never.

But you know how much history matters when you have two teams playing on any given Sunday in this league, right? Well, as much as the 17-point handicap against us: NOTHING.

Everything is yet to be decided on the field on Sunday.

George Allen was taking his teams to the Supper Bowl? That explains a lot.

I might add that last loss in 1972 was played as visitors in Mass. and we lost by a single point: 23 - 24. It was a very different NFL. Every generation must earn its own bragging rights

Historical stats like these are totally insignificant outside of maybe 5 years or so. Especially with the recent turnover in the league. At most they are interesting barroom trivia.

The only thing to take away from the 1972 loss is that the Redskins were a much better team than the Pats that year and the Pats stole one. I was a youngster and was totally pissed they lost. Maybe the reverse could happen this time around.....Some New England 12 year old getting his heart broken. Ha HA! Take that squirt!

Me too and what makes matters worse is that they don't have a smooth interface to go between local games and the sunday ticket ones.

I'm not so sure about that. Yes, intuitively these streaks should not be carried over decades, and yet they pop up everywhere around pro sports. Look at the 'Skins dominance over Detroit in DC. Streaks do end. The Lions did break the streak we held over them in Detroit also, a few years back. The Red Sox overcame the curse of the Bambino. But this doesn't mean that these kinds of streaks are insignificant.

Los Angeles DirecTV will be showing the Giants/Dolphins from Wembley.

No Redskins, and no 49ers.
