My wife is psychic and.............................

Firstly let me introduce you to my wife Jacqui. Up until this season she had no interest in football at all although she loves Liverpool FC (soccer) and St Helens RLFC (rugby league).

As a birthday treat for me and for us to do something different at New Year we have decided to go to the Redskins - Cowboys game.

Jacqui has been watching some coverage on Sky TV (Fox) and seens to have a grip of the four downs, along with what a good play looks like. She now knows how you score.

She is however still stuggling with how much each score is worth along with the difference between cover 2 and cover 3 defence.

She is taking a active interest in the Redskins this season and is very supportive of me, she consoles me as we do our best to lose a second half lead.

Anyway Jacqui is psycic. Not psycic as in put your money on these lottery numbers or theres a plane going to crash psycic. More of a your up to something you shouldn't be sort of psycic.

This morning we were both off work and the first thing she said after go and make a drink was. "I dreamt you beat the pats this week". Exactly that, she called them the pats. Then she said "It was close you know you were going mad you only won by a point. I think it was 10 - 9." I was gobsmacked.

Firstly there is a flaw in the argument. If we beat the Pats by a point I would not be going mad. I would be going mental.

Plus I would only find out after the game had finished anyway. Im Going to the Dolphins game at Wembley and wont be home before its finished.

What goes in favour tho is if we do win it will be very low scoring. My theory is based on the fact that we can't score enough points to win a shootout unless their entire defensive unit gets banned for the game and Randy Moss is playing Defensive tackle.

Another point in favour is that teams that do something very well and have a long and impressive streak at anything. When that streak ends you always wonder how the hell they had that streak in the first place. Tom Brady np TDS and 4 interceptions throwing hoop las to Moss, sorry Taylor.

The main point for me tho is she picked 10 - 9. With her knowledge of the scoring system that was spooky. Thats not a score we get in English sports.

I tell you what if she right I may even buy her some flowers.

If it works out, we may all send her flowers. Then she needs to take over as Special Advisor to Joe Gibbs. She would be a Redskin version of the Patriots video guys.

My wife is a Patriots fan. If the Redskins win this game I'm going to get an earful, and if the Redskins lose this game I am going to get an earful. I'll take the win and the earful.

My dining choices for the evening are only these two options:

Liquor
Or the same pronounciation with a slightly different spelling.

No food will be involved. There will be nothing to throw up in the event the Redskins suck hind tit.

Do you believe in your wifes vision enough to bet on the game? If we are winning we might as well win money.

*disclaimer* I in no way support gambling, unless I am winning.
