Should Redskins go for him and give up and couple of draft picks or more and have jason campbell throw to ARE, Moss, and Chad. We will then be unstopable. I was just curious what you guys think of it

Is Chad Johnson available?

Not a "Gibbs guy" and , possible locker room infection. If he isnt putting up numbers in that offense he would never be happy here. Not worth it, IMO.

Trade Chad? Lewis won't sayIf the Bengals are thinking about trading Chad Johnson this offseason - as was reported over the weekend by ESPN - coach Marvin Lewis isn't tipping his hand.
On ESPN's pregame show Sunday, NFL reporter Chris Mortensen said that a "prominent member of the Bengals organization recently told me that the organization does have a decision to make on Chad Johnson, that he is so passionate and proud that if they decided to discipline him for some of those antics they believe he might shut it down.
"So how he finishes the rest of the year and the Bengals finish could bring them to a crossroads discussion on whether to even trade Chad Johnson in the offseason."

Can we save the next season talk until next season? There's still a current season to be played, and so far, the 'skins aren't too bad. Let's save this offseason talk for the offseason. We'll need something to get us through the post-draft, pre-camp lull!!

Enough with this "Gibbs guy" nonsense. Ryan Clark and Antonio Pierce were "Gibbs guys" and where are they now? Is Sean Taylor, with some of his past problems, a "Gibbs guy"? Talent is what matters most, even for Gibbs and the Skins. Everyone said that Corey Dillion wasn't a "Belichick" guy but yet the Patriots won a Super Bowl with him. Randy Moss supposedly wasn't a "Belichick" guy either but how has that trade worked out for them? If we can get Chad Johnson for a reasonable price I would be all for it.

Ya,Chad Johnson is like the 3rd best WR in the league and no one in the Bengles divison needs one.The skins need an tall WR and Chad is what we need.He is the type of WR JC needs at his height and we need some one to comeplament Moss also to be more free.
That would be an great dou.

I mean how come Romo can have his best Target with Owens and how come Brady has his WR;s and how come Payton has his?.
Notice all top QB has been very good like Palmer-Payton-Brady-Farve-Romo-
and notice all of them have A Tall WR and look how they turn out?.I love Moss but he needs another WR like Chad to complement and hell Chad Johnson would be are #1 guy.
Why Can't JC who deserves an Tall WR for once with that talent come to us?.
Expansive or not the guy is an Hall of Famer and with JC arm than Chad could very will catch basically anything with his size and speed.

I am just waiting for somebody to say two things:
1) think about the offseason during the offseason; and
2) think cap space before you play fantasy NFL in reality.

Think about he's under contract and will cost more than just money and cap space.

Why bother? It's easily apparent to those of us with a semi-functioning brain that there are issues aside from a talent aspect that have to be dealt with.

Already at $124M for next year and only have 43 players under contract. A whole lot needs to be done before you look at bringing in someone that will cost as much as Chad will. No maybe about it.

Campbell has a tall reciever, his name is

ey. I just could'nt stomach all of the side show stuff with that guy. The HoF 20?? jacket caused me to lose all respect Johnson. Some of the other things he does are amusing, but that was down right disrespectful. I hope he never gets in. But they let Michael Irvin in , before Art, so I doubt thats gonna happen. One can only hope they have a seperate building for guys like him and TO,who do not belong amongst the ledgends and class that came before them. NO, if we get a big reciever next year, he needs to be DRAFTED! Robiski?

Robiski?
Name the last best WR that came out of the draft from us?.I believe the last good WR was Gary Clark. And Chad Johnson might of put the HOF shirt on but come on,its to attract the media and its not an lie he is one.
Chris

ey is the tallest guy we got but hes an TE......................................We need some one like Chad who is 6'1 with great Speed to catch the balls down the field.Drafting WR will not help us but drating an DE could but than again Lang in 99 didn't help at all.But lets just drat one DE=CB=And OL thats it and another TE with good blocking skills.
Other than that CJ will be the best choice to get,he'll be perfect for CJ and not only that but Moss can be still an play maker.
Think about it? you think Giants would be alot better with out Plexico?.Lets wake up this generation of WR have to be tall and fast to be great.
