Football stadium transforms into guest house for fire evacuees

This is a real tragedy and I know that Canada sent two water bombers from Quebec to the site. Apparently more help is on its way.
How could this get so out of hand? Apparently, there is no relief in sight from the weather and the fires are already spreading into Mexico. They are helping fight the fire from their side as well.
Obviously, this is going to have an impact on the game on Sunday, which probably will be played surely in a different venue.
