LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A strip club manager paralyzed in a triple shooting is suing the National Football League, the Tennessee Titans and suspended football player Adam "Pacman" Jones, claiming they're responsible for his injuries.

Tommy Urbanski seeks unspecified damages in the civil lawsuit, which his lawyer, Matthew Dushoff, said would be filed Friday in Clark County District Court. It also names the owners of Harlem Knights, a Houston strip club that rented the Minxx Gentleman's Club in Las Vegas in February for a party the weekend of the NBA All-Star game.

"The fact that the NFL and the Titans did not punish Adam 'Pacman' Jones until after Tommy was paralyzed is a proximate cause of Tommy's injuries," Dushoff said before a news conference at a Henderson hotel with Urbanski and his wife, Kathleen.

The NFL is better off without the PacMan's of the world.
If Rae Carruth is rotting in a jail cell, PacMan should be, too. My 2 cents

I hope you're not actually comparing what Jones (inciting a riot) to what Carruth did (contracting the murder of his pregnant girlfriend).

I'm not a lawyer, but I don't really see how the NFL or Titans are liable here.

I doubt seriously that a Grand Jury would find either the NFL or the Titans culpable from what I've read. I do, however, think that scum is scum and just because a scumball happens to play professional sports doesn't make them any less of a scum. That piece of crap running back in Tampa Bay is another one who should be in jail. It just so happens that CrackMan is challenging stupid and losing.

Inciting a riot which included deliberate gunfire intended to kill someone? Scum.

The lawyer is playing the game trial lawyers play in circumstances like these... find the deepest pockets... sue them... hope something sticks. It won't, and it stinks that they will still need to pay lawyers to defend themselves, but, you know... dog's gotta bark, fish's gotta swim, and a trial lawyer's gotta sue somebody...

I never said he wasn't scum. I just don't think it even sniffs Carruth's crime.

By intent, you are correct. However, I assume you have heard of the mandatory 10-20-LIFE law. Pull a gun, get ten years, use a gun in the commission of a crime, get 20 years, shoot a victim, get life. By that statute, PacMan is just a guilty as Rae Carruth is.
