2008 Season tickets? Did anyone else get the letter?

OK... I got a letter from the Redskins saying I'm near the top of the list. I'm guessing it's probably a form letter (umm.. the "Dear Waitlist Member" salutation was kind of a tip off).

Did everyone here that's on the list get the same letter? It asks for $50 per seat for deposit w/seat assignment coming in May 2008? Has anyone done this in the past and actually ended up w/decent seats? (I hope this is posted in the right section... if not, please feel free to move).

It means you will be eligible to purchase the season tickets next year but you will not be advised as to where the seats are until next spring/early summer. So, if you want to buy season tickets for next year send in the $50 deposit per ticket and you'll be on your way. If you buy four tickets you'll be able to buy parking passes in the Red or Green lot. Under four and you'll need to call and ask to be put on a parking wait list.

Oh, and see where my seats are? You'll probably get a similar assignment in your first year. But, they will be YOUR seats.

Yes, I got the same letter. I threw mine in the trash. Thanks but no thanks.

NikiH and I both got one, and I checked last year and they said they expected us both to come up this year, so it's probably legit.

I wonder if you get a response. How many games do you want?

Cleg, I'm not to sure about the parking passes. I've been a four seat season ticket holder for 4 years now and still can't get a parking pass so I doubt a new season ticket holder will be able to get one.

I did this year. I am a new season ticket holder with 4 seats and when I called and asked to be put on the wait list the guy told me since I had four seats I was eligible to buy in the Red or Blue lot - I see that I inadvertantly said green in my original post. I purchased a pass in the Red lot about three days before the first home preseason game.

How much does a pair of season tickets usually run?

Mine were $64 face value and about 11 bucks in various fee's per ticket times 10 games - 2 preseason and 8 home games. The better the seat the more it costs.
