D VS O

Maybe this has been discussed before, but why is it that in the NFL does the O get paid more, have more highlights about, get drafted higher, most of the times get MVP? Even fantasy football is all about O and not D (though some leagues do play D players). It think that LBs should get paid like some QBs and RBs. CBs paid like WRs. What gives? In almost every show and stat is based on O. D players get paid way low and in my opinion do not get the credit they deserve... Even ST players, they get almost no love except for Hester and Vinateri

On the same note, I think that the OL and DL should get paid more, especially the OL since most teams rotate thier DL.

The simple answer would be that you have to score points to win the game. The actual answer is that offensive players, particularly quarterbacks, are glorified pretty boys. It has nothing to do with talent and everything to do with marketability. You see the QB 50 plays a game. You see a star wide receiver 10+ plays a game. You won't see 10 sacks a game or 10 interceptions a game and tackling is under-rated to the point that 15+ tackles in a game is hardly even a byline.
My 2 cents

Good point... I just hate it when the score is 35-32 and people call it a good game. That is not a good game because no ones D showed up. Well I will always love D before O and maybe make it my personal mission to help the world see the great players and plays on D...
