Many talk about flying under the radar and it being good that we don't get respect. I agree, but at some point they will realize that we are good, and must give us respect. I think we have reached that point where we should get at least some respect. I don't think anybody will put us in the NFC toilet now.

He is no longer with the W. Post. So, he is able to say nice things every once in a while now (as long as it is not published in SI).

I think most had us rated about the middle of the pack at the begining of the season. Anyone who thought we were rated below 20 really was just being anti-skins. I would say that we have gradually improved over the first 3 weeks but we are certainly a lot better team after what we all saw yesterday.
We now can see the potential that exists - nothing to go overboard about just yet but that was an impressive performance.
The next 3 weeks will be a good indicator of how far we have come.

I really think that that we are a top 5 team in the NFC and we can beat anyone on our shedule, including NE

We are a good team? Really? I would like to believe that, and I hope it turns out to be true. But when I am honest with myself I have to admit that hope is very different from evidence. For a fact, we haven't beaten any good teams yet. Miami and Philadelphia are pathetic, and Detroit is a perennial loser. Nobody should respect the Redskins because the Redskins haven't trashed any good teams yet.

I guess holding the number one passing offense to 144 TOTAL yards is nothing to be proud about. I am happy and becoming more optimistic by the week. We've played 2 bad quarters out of 17. That's our D is holding up (short of the Marcus Washington injuries). It's the offense I'm worried about. We're losing a starter a week, which isn't cool.

I think we are much improved on last year, but beat New England. The only team that can beat them is themselves or injuries. They have a fantastic team.
I do think we are very good and the only thing that will stop us from making the playoffs is were in the East.

We beat New England last time we played them in 03. We have a better team now than we did then. And If I remember correctly, didn't they win a SB that year?
Except I think they have better WRs than they did then. But still we have a better safty combo than we did then.

One only has to do a search for "SI" to find the number of posts relative to the numerous and varies reasons to hate SI. Peter King alone is enough reason but wait, there's more.
