Let's revisit the Bailey for Portis (and 2nd rd pick) trade NOW...

Travis Henry -- Most likely will be suspended for the year after coming up with a dirty drug test.

Travis Bell (isn't Bell the guy the Broncos picked with the 2nd rounder we gave up in this trade?), Reuben Droughns, Anderson, etc -- all gone...

Selvin Young -- Henry's backup...anyone think the Broncos can "just" plug this guy into that offense and away he'll go?

Andre Hall -- Anyone ever hear of this guy?

While Bailey is the best CB in the league, no questions asked, isn't it also important to have a RB that takes a little pressure off the passing game?

All we ever heard was that Shanahan could "plug" any RB into that offense and they'd do well!

By the way, I'm really pleased with our CBs now. CB certainly isn't a weakness on our team.

Maybe we could trade Rock to the Broncos for a 1st round pick or maybe a starting CB and their 2nd round pick. j/k!

Reuben Droughns was successful in Denver. To me, that is enough to suggest Shanahan can just plug anyone in. If you look at the stats they are always an elite running team.

Spilled milk

They drafted Tatum Bell (now with Detroit) with the 2nd rounder and have Mike Bell now (undrafted last year)

Bailey is gone now. Forget him he gets burned alot. Even though he is considered one of the best he still gets toasted from time to time.
