This might be on another topic but , What is up with all the Cowboy's (Romo)
commercials?? I cant stand seeing them. Also, dont you think it would be a distraction to the team?

Not anymore then Escorting Carrie Underwood to the CMTs, Judging the Miss Universe contest, or trying out the for the US Open.

You have to understand that being a good Cowboys QB comes with a certain amount of stardom and responsibility to the viewers out there. Romo is a star and everybody wants a piece of him. Just imagine what happens if we win a superbowl? Romo is a nice guy though, so it's not a big deal. So were Troy and Roger. Cowboys QBs aren't annoying know-it-alls like Joe Theismann. j/k

Don't you two have a message board for that team of yours somewhere in cyberspace that you can chat about ttiT?

I wouldn't want to be around a bunch of you either :P

Back on topic.
Troy and Roger grew on me after they retired, and Troy is actually one of the best at what he does. Romo has a long way to go even to get close to what they did as QBs.

That Pepsi commercial might give Jerry some ideas

I don't know if it gives Jeral any ideas but it might give Belichick his next idea - RadioGate. :puke:

All those commercials are shot in the off-season, so I'm not sure it really has much to do with anything.

I watched the Romo interview after the Bills game and he was a lot more down to earth than I realized. I'm so used to idiots like Irvin and TO and Roy "Horse Collar" Williams that I forget that the Cowpukes can actually have decent people on their team

I agree with VSF. I actually like Romo's passion for the game, and his ability to have fun on the field. I also gotta give him some props for making plays. Anyone remember that ridiculous run against the Rams? Most QBs would have taken the sack.

Plus, he's a product of that team. He earned his position in Dallas, as opposed to the team just giving him the reigns to the team.

Give this guy his due. He deserves it. He's no world beater, but he ain't no Cleo Lemon. My 2 cents

Someone please mark the tape, and save this post forever. Redskin fans actually said something good about a Dallas Cowboy. I read it with me own eyes!
