ode][/quote]Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl cornerback DeAngelo Hall asked the franchise to trade him last week, according to two sources. The Falcons informed Hall that his request will not be immediately granted.
"He's going to play out the season and see what happens," said a source close to Hall. "He's not happy, but he'll calm down and see how things are … I would expect some teams will be asking about him, but the Falcons said they won't trade him."

I'll say this that Packers don't think we can efford him but I think we won't have enough cap space if we tried. In the other than we do have some usless guys we don't need to create enough space.
But if we tried and get this guys (Who saids wants to be a skins) and lives in VA than the trade should be like this.
Rogers
2nd round pick
for
D.Hall
We need more speed and a young covering CB like Hall but next year look what happens if we don't.
Springs is gone next year along with Macklin.Than Smoot and Rogers start and we can' trust Rogers ,and Smoot is getting old.
If we get Hall right now are D would already be better since Smoot would start and in next year draft we can draft a DE in the 1st and draft CB's in the 3rd and 4th for good secondary.
Its sounds all good I would love to have the 24 very talented CB Hall with us.Cause I think Gibbs gave up in drafting CB's and I think Hall is the answer.

Not really overrated but hes much better than Rogers and with safety's to help him would make him much better.

After all, we're guaranteed to draft good corners in the third and fourth rounds next year - that's why in your 'scenario' you're trying to DUMP our FIRST ROUND draft pick from a few years ago... because being drafted guarantees that the guy is good.
I'd also like to see the list of 'useless guys to cut and save cap space'... that'd be cool. Why don't you give us a sample list and the cap savings that the Redskins would experience. Tell us how many roster slots you'd give up to fill just one.
Then we won't even have to talk about how in order to trade Hall, the Falcons would first have to eat the remainder of his salary cap bonus. But I'm sure little things like the 100 million tied up in Michael Vick won't in any way affect the way the Falcons manage their cap...
Lastly, because the mind is a terrible thing to waste:
Homonym - one of two or more words spelled and pronounced alike but different in meaning
Example:
OUR - of or relating to us or ourselves
ARE - second singular of the verb 'to be'
That's not to be confused with words like THEN and THAN which AREN'T homonyms, they're just DIFFERENT WORDS WITH DIFFERENT MEANINGS ENTIRELY.
Kids... stay in school. Read books.

and dude please get off the CBs topic.. every other day you start a post about how bad our secondary is and that we need to get rid of Rogers.. it was a bye week this week what could he have possibly done wrong now? maybe if at the end of the season Rogers has looked horrible this would be a valid point.. but we arent even a quarter of the way done yet and we are 2-1 and to tell you the truth hes played pretty solid.. anytime Gregg has had the balls to put the corners in a man D .. he pretty much shut down his reciever.. the times hes given up catches UNDERNEATH is because as many people have said on here time and time again we are running packages like the cover 3 which reguires a cushion and he 9 times out of 10 makes the tackle short of the 1st down

I know a few people who want out of Burma - they'd be great on special teams.

Normally, this late into the school year, this stuff has pretty much dried up.

Trade for him? No. Sign him as a free agent after this season? A possibility that I would like to see happen. Springs most likely is gone after this season so we will be in need of a #1 caliber corner. Seeing as how this year's draft class wont be that strong at the cb position that leaves free agency and Hall will likely be the best available player.

Am I missing something? He signed a six year deal in 2004 and he had an escape clause on the last season - so doesn't he still have a year left (after this one) in Atlanta?

ok..if Rogers is so bad prove it .. I want you to take what hes done so far this year and compare it to all the other corners in the league stats .. balls thrown too.. number of catches against etc.. and if you can prove to me that hes worse then lets see there are 32 teams in the NFL with 2 starters at the CB position that would be 64 other corners then I will glady say I'm sorry to you.. because basically what your saying is he cant start.. so that means there are 64 DB's in these league more capable then him that we should get

I doubt you're missing anything. You don't miss much. Just for grins, though, I went to nflplayers.com and e-mailed DeAngelo Hall directly about his thoughts on playing for the Redskins ... I'll post the response here if I get one.

Funny how things can get twisted by the normally so reliable media - I just heard on Sirius that Hall is not happy with the Falcons but that he has in no way indicated he wants out
Like BH points out this guy has a contract

Man I seriously wish we had gotten Bly..
Bly>>>>>>Springs
Plus he would've stayed after this year..
Screw Hall, if we diddnt get Bly do you honestly think we'd trade for Hall?? Nah.
Besides we all know Hall is a selfish player, that is overrated and gets burned frequently.

Bly isn't doing nothing with the Broncos ,but I rather have traded Rogers for Bly and Bly is getting old.Lets for once get some one very young and fast.

Hall is one of the best corners in the league. Its Champ Bailey then D. Hall.
No denying Halls talent. He is under contract though so I dont see how this is even a topic.
