Why do people get down on players when they dont have 1000yd seasons or what ever. For example, ARE, this guy is a good athlete and I am sure a good teamate, I like him as a 'Skin and I hate it whem people get on him cause he didnt get a 100 yrd game or what ever about #2 WR...

WRs can not just walk on the field and get 100 yrds... Moss and A. Johnson get 1000yds because they are the only option when it comes to the pass game let alone the offense... we are a run heavy team. Also remember last year we had Mark "cant throw for 20yds" Brunell. That is why Moss and the WRs had a low year...

Seriously

Pretty simple.....poor execution, untimely penalties, and bad play calling on both sides of the ball.

I have pointed out for the last 2 weeks that while we have ended up with a W after each game that was actually more because of how badly the other teams have played against us than because we deserved to win - today the Giants ended up with a W because we lost not because they won - to me there is a difference - we are still 2-1 after 3 games but we really need this QB to start being able to make the plays that we were all told he worked so hard on doing this past six months

the point is we are 2-1 but we are still not a good football team

very disapointing loss to a really terrible football team - like I said they did not beat us, we lost!

Horrific play calling on offense. No pass rush on defense as usual and poor tackling.

can't believe it. 1st & Goal And we can't get it done. Play calling has been called on the carpet before and I think that this is defintely a time to question it again.

We haven't run the ball well all game long so why are we trying to run it there? A least throwing it into the End Zone stops the clock if it is Incomplete. I'm scratching my head. I hope they do something quick to change this during the bye. Time off to get healthy, and then they need their butts kicked.

I need a beer! Maybe 2 or 3!!!

I am so unhappy. When we started the second half we went into this conservative offense , But it didnt work. 3 straight running plays to the left??
I cant let that go right now. We have to let JC throw the ball and blow people out. I think he can do that. The Giants put the rush on and that where you get the ball down field . Also, WHERE WAS CP AT THE END???????????????? He is our RB and that is it. Im really pissed right now.

Hail to the Redskins.

How do we have a 14 point lead at the half and a turnover ratio of +2 and lose the game? Terrible, terrible play calling throughout the entire second half. When we got down to barely any time left and finally started getting aggressive, it was way too late.

Classic J. Gibbs saying "we're all together"..........

The defense was solid, this is a team that has been putting up around 40 points.

Plain and simple, Joe Gibbs has to take the muzzle off of this offense. I don't understand what his fascination is with running ball control offense in the 3rd quarter but successful offenses score 21+ points a game.

We're good, but nowhere near great, and 'good enough' doesn't get you far in this league. The offense really needs to step up - it's just plain vanilla.

I just can't believe it! They gave that game to us and we gave it right back!

Our offense failed miserably!

London played great! Rogers smoked on another huge play! Come on kid!

Carter did well..... Moss/ARE stepped up when needed.

Betts tripping on 4th down! GRRRRRRRRRR

This one is going to hurt!

To lose a game to the team with the worst defense in the NFL is just awful.

The play calling was conservative and bland, as usual. With the talent they have on offense, they should be scoring over 20 points, at least, every game.

Jason Campbell has a ways to go. He makes far to many mistakes and sails too many passes.

The 2nd half defense was 2006esqe. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Maybe we should cover Burress and Shockey on 3rd down? Maybe? They made Ward, a practice squad player, look like Tiki. They made Eli look like Peyton. Of course, had the offense been able to get a single 1st down against the worst defense in football, they may have been a little fresher.

Games like this make me yearn for the days when Gibbs is gone. I really despise his conservative nature. I know that Saunders is the offensive coordinator, but we all know Gibbs influences the play calls.

the 1st half defense played great. 2nd half, not so much. Special teams kicked butt today.

I agree, Chris. I love Gibbs, but ....

What's with ALWAYS trying to run the ball straight up the middle? Why not spread the defense out and let Portis pick his hole to run through. Put Portis on the edge where he is most successful.

I was not impressed with the play calling at all.

Carter did well

No he didn't. He made one play all game. The rest of the time he was quiet pass rushing and the Giants were most successful running the ball to his side of the field. The guy is not an every down DE. The guy is inept in the running game.

I felt Jason played VERY WELL. Who got us in to position to score? When Joe Gibbs stops playing these games like he's afraid, then maybe we'll win the in a convincing fashion.

Ball control is fine, but you don't go into ball control mode with two quarters to play and only a 14 point lead - things happen fast in this league. Keep the pressure on! Go for the kill! The Colts never go timid on offense when they've only got a 14 point lead - they still go for deep strikes, and let Peyton air the ball out. Gibbs has to play to win, not play not to lose. It's that same "play it safe, take no risks" mentality which made Gibbs stick with Brunell too long the last three years, and it killed us here as well.

I hate to say it but we deserved to lose that game after the second half.

I just hope Gibbs learns his lesson from that second half playcalling. Please let Saunders call the plays Gibbs please [-o<

My angle:

JC is young. I still think he did well, but he's still young. I don't know how to do it, but JC's constistancy needs to improve. Give him some lavendar baby powder, some de-caf lattes, or whatever it takes, but calm him down on those errant throws....

Our RT side is FUBAR'd, period. Until they either gel or get replaced, we're screwed on our run game. We CANNOT run to the RT at this point in time, which is easy to gameplan against.

ARE stepped up, but they didn't use him enough. Too little, too late IMO. I don't recall hearing his name in the 1st 3 quarters, which is completely stupid. USE HIM MORE, PERIOD.

Run until the run quits working, then play-action to the successful side. Bootleg. Use our strengths, and JC's legs are one of our strengths. Roll-outs and bootlegs SHOULD be in our gameplan.

Defense... where to begin??!!?? I can't even BEGIN to understand what happened after halftime, but it CANNOT happen again. If it happens, we LOSE, no question.

Do whatever we did in the 1st 1/2, and NEVER, EVER, EVER do what we did in the 2nd half, EVER!!?!!!!

I dont agree with the pass rush. We have do a pretty good job at that. I know its not great but its better than the past 2 years . But...... The play calling on OFF was HORRIFIC !!!!!! You have to win games , not prevent loses .

I thought Campbell looked good actually, when he was allowed to pass. Not many qb's look good on 3rd and 11 after two failed runs, Especially with Strahan, Umenyiora, and Kiwanuka (check spelling on the last two) coming off the ends. If not for campbell and the receivers, ot would not have even been a possibility.
