Are the Packers for real?

They just beat Norv's Chargers! This team is looking scary! I'm glad the skins got the NFC North on the one year that all the teams are starting to improve. This schedule is looking tougher that I thought!

The answer to the question:

No. Karma will kill the Packers because of their fans.

I think today is just another example of Norv not being a winning head coach, even when he has superior talent.

Well, I don't think beating a Norv Turner coached team is evidence of anything really. The Charges are reaping the fate that they truly deserve for firing Marty after last season.

But I wouldn't call the Packers a pushover.

If Farve can stay healthy this team can be a playoff team. He is a top 10 all time QB, maybe he still has gas in the tank after 17 years.

They aren't for real until they prove they can run the ball.

Of course they are for real.

Give Farve a defense now all he has to do is produce 21 points and they are a pretty good team. I say they should be good for at least nine wins maybe ten. Farve is looking like the young Farve.

Consider this last year Farve did not know what kind of team he had. Farve was forcing the issue because he thought he had to take more chances in order to win.

Fast forward to now, Farve now knows he has a decent defense backing him up. So he has the piece of mind and all he has to do is manage the game and not take too many unecassary chances. He know is playing like the Hall of Famer he is. He still has a couple years to play.
