I'd like to see Cooley have a better game before I buy a T-Shirt. I hope he didn't cash in his big check and take a step back.

Looks like this guy is making this crap in his basement. Also looks like he might have legal issues with marketing a licensed cartoon character with an unlicensed use of an NFL player. I'd avoid this website like the plague.
NFL shop is reputable, yet they always seem to be out of this item.

First, how could he possibly have a licensing issue? Captain Chaos is a nickname, not an NFL property. Secondly, I've chatted with the guy who makes those shirts, I can vouch for his reputation.

The use of Chris Cooley's name, which is like all other players, licensed, is more what I was referring to. I was also, obviously, unaware anyone had previously conducted business with this particular website.

It certainly isn't rocket science to know that NFL players' names, images, uniforms, likenesses, et. al. are licensed and / or registered trademarks. Without the legal terminology, "Issued Under License", or similar legal terminology to indicate authorized usage, people like myself who practice law tend to make much ado, perhaps about nothing.

It certainly doesn't take a rocket scientist to see Cooley's name is nowhere on the shirt. So none of that applies. And I have done no business with the site, I just know of it through other people. But you still knocked it as some two-bit operation without knowing anything about it.

As previously stated, perhaps I made much ado about nothing.

As Shakespeare's direct descendant and therefore heir to his intellectual property I demand that you give me recompense for using that phrase twice now.

Everyone thinks thoughts and ideas are free. . .well they're wrong.

Evidently, my thoughts aren't worth anything. At least not in this thread and on this subject. I can't intelligently speak for anyone else. At your demand for recompense without suspense or pretense I do take offense. :P

Or perhaps, that was a poor inference.
