Now that we hurt the eagles so bad they can't talk for an long time.

Any way we are playing the giants at are house and well..........Lets just say getting 30 points and more sounds like no problem.

Portis expected to have 100 yards and much more with Moss down the field with an possible 2 TD.

So thats an easy 3-0 win.Than have Lions at are house and we always and i mean always beat them.

4-0 right there.

Than Packers who sucks real bad and we play at there house should give us 5-0 .

But wait we play the cards at are house? that could be 6-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

nothing is gurenteed dude. i mean yeah the giants are awful and we should win that. but the Lions are 2-0, the Packers are 2-0, and the Cards are 1-1 and barely lost to the 49ers. i mean i know they didnt play good teams, but they are still 2-0 and we shouldnt just look at these games like easy games.

After last weeks win over Miami, I predicted these type of threads would be popping up, and NO ONE got the humor in my post! I was right, though....here they are!

It's a short week, and we got nicked a little last night. We cannot overlook the Gints, no matter how bad they look. My 2 cents

I completely agree, which is why the "We can go 6-0" threads are both needless and un-necessary and can lead to complacency.

Let's not declare ourselves the NFC East Champs just yet, folks. You might think the Giants game is a gimme.....but isn't that exactly what the Eagles may have thought about the Redskins last night?

One game at a time, people. One game at a time.

I'm not assuming the Giants game is a win and, hopefully, nor will the Redskins. They're gonna have to bring their "A" game each and every week to be successful...and that will be including games against the Gnats and Lions.

Also, any talk of 4-0 or 5-0 or 6-0 is foolish at this point, what this team needs to look to next is the New York Giants.

What You Said.

The Gnats are looking to get healthy against the Redskins next Sunday. At least we don't have to worry about the Redskins starting to believe their own press, since they aren't getting any positive press.

Keep in mind that the Giants are putting up points. It will be a good test for our conservative cover3 that we're using these days. Even though their defense isn't up to par, We do have some inconsistancies, enough to make me have a little worry in the back of my head every week. I'm optomistic, but with a little wariness.

Let's just figure out who's going to cover Plaxico first...

The Giants game has all the makings of a trap game!

Trap game?

My good man, there are no "trap games" against NFC East rivals!!!!

I agree completely. 4-2 is a very reasonable record, and 5-1 or even 6-0 aren't necessarily out of the question.

It'd be foolish for the team to overlook NY, but it's ok for the fans. We should spank them.

The Redskins could also go 0-14 ... it's a little early to begin the undefeated talks. The team has injury concerns and issues to address on both sides of the ball. Namely, it's not going to be easy to maintain a rushing attack with a makeshift offensive line and plays need to be made when they can be made offensively. We can't expect the defense to hold every team to field goals every week.

Justice Hog said it best------ONE GAME AT A TIME...

Giants are playing for there entire 07 season ..They are wounded animals backed into a corner...there at DEF CON 5....it will be a dogfight....

Lets stay within ourselves..one thing we can control...if anyone you know is going to the game make sure fedex IS A HORNETS NEST!!!!.

THAT STADIUM BETTER BE HUMMING!!!!! I KNOW IT WILL!

The Giants need this game desperately and we are coming off an emotional MNF win.

I still like our chances and think that we are correctly favored by 4-4.5 points but this is not a gimme by any means. This is the NFL and this is a division rivalry. Take nothing for granted.

However, if our defense plays the way it did against Miami and Philly then we should definitely win and improve to 3-0 because the Giants D will be by far the softest we have played so far this season and I am expecting us to be able to move the ball.

I realize a thread like this is pointless but it sure is nice that 3-0 is still mathematically possible 2 games into the season!

The Redskins will win the next two games at least. I'm looking forward to a 5-1 record

I wonder if you saw what happened last week? Nothing is a given and especially not in division match-ups - The favored team failed to cover in 13 of the 16 games last week - why does what happened in past games with Detroit factor into our chances of winning that game? The "Packers who sucks real bad" statement really shows how much you are aware of what is happening on the football field

we need to play a lot better and have a lot of luck to get to 6-0 - be great but I just hope these guys can stay healthy - we will be in a lot of trouble if we keep losing key players every week.

If there is one thing that I have in common with Joe Gibbs, it's the fact that I'm a worrier. I worry about the injury to Thomas, I worry about the fact that we still aren't winning the turnover battle, I worry that Lloyd seems to be AWOL, I worry etc etc etc.

Right now, my worry is the Giants. If there is one game that has the classic banana-skin look to it, then this might be it. If the Redskins get ahead of themselves now, then the Giants will punish them. Focus, focus, focus. The Redskins are better than the Giants, but only if their preparation is as good, if not better than the Giants, and if their focus is as good, if not better than the Giants.

Did I mention that I'm worried?

So does that mean no bold prediction of a Redskins win from you against the Midgets? :D I am also a little concerned but I think that is more of the fact that I love winning and just don't want to go back to the losing ways. I don't think they will sleep on the giants because 2-0 can become 2-14 if you get overly confident. Monday's/Tuesday's are so much better at work when the Skins win.

I would think that over-confidence wouldn't be your problem if you dropped 14 in a row.

This team still needs to learn how to put teams away. Dolphins game went to OT and Eagles were 2 plays away from OT. We're still relying too heavily on our defense to win the game for us. Until our offense can dominate consistently throughout a whole game we are still very beatable every week. This Giants game will show alot, they have a bad D and if we're not good enough to exploit it then we're not near as good as alot of you guys think. I hope Campbell and Co. prove something this week and score 35+ points.
