I, too, believe that this will be beneficial for the franchise. Not only will it light a fire under The Danny to build a better stadium (in the city!), but also it should force him to reevaluate where he is foolishly allocating money (see: Vinny Cerrato salary).

I hate doing this but, I have no idea where I saw the article. I read about 6 months ago that Danny was willing to build a new stadium in the city if he could convince the NFL to give us a Superbowl date. There was also a mention of possibly holding a summer olympics here (no way im driving in that, so I guess I better save some sick time). anyone else remember reading this?
