Good luck trying to read it, though. . .

No problem. It says "I was better than that jerk-off from Pittsburgh last season." If my team had any defense whatsoever I could put up 200 points." "Russian women are ugly but Russian vodka is the best."

You have no ears so that is really freaky.

Doing my best Borat impression.

No, Ovechkin pulled off a hole-in-one on one of his first golf outings for a charity event.

Wow! Multi-Talented. Lucky for us he chose hockey.

Actually, I believe it was his FIRST ever golf game!

It was the very first time that he played golf.

Up here in Canada they played the video clip over and over again... it was so funny... it still makes me laugh just to think about it...

"Tiger, where are you, tiger?"

"I hit over there and I got it. I swear god."

ROTFALMAO

Ahh... good times, good times.

Having stood beside the guy in a dressing room, I can tell you that his excitement and his exuberence is very real. The guy's just a real trip...

... and probably the most complete hockey player on the planet.

Linguistics?

Like I said... he's probably the most complete hockey player on the planet.

Definitely the best player the Caps have had since Peter Bondra was a youth ... and probably the only reason anyone is paying any attention to the Caps. I know they have a couple of other players who may turn out to be very good but Sasha could be one of the best ever if the Caps get him a little help.

They are working on it. I know the Caps were streaky this past year, but when they were on they were one tough team to beat. I love the youth, and I like the moves that they've made this offseason. Plus, they've got such heart and emotion in their play. . .I love it. It will be fun to follow them again this year, win or lose.

I have to agree. And I was a hockey fan before I knew the NFL existed so you know I'm looking for good things. It would be nice if the NHL commissioner would do a slightly better job of promoting the sport. One game a week on local TV or VS isn't exactly great exposure.

Dude! English is hard. Take it from someone who barely speaks it.

Oh I know my friend. I watch English speaking people here struggle with it every day.

Seriously though, I'm not knocking Alex at all... I just wish (for his sake) he spoke better English. The mass media have a tendency to sound byte him irregardless, and it makes him come off as a thick-headed numb skull.

Bringing in a vet Russian like Victor Kozlov will help the Caps as much off the ice as it will on the ice IMO. That's not why they got him, but I think Alex will benefit greatly from having a senior guy around that can bridge any language barriers.

I'm excited about the Caps this year. They had a great offseason, and if they can just build off of the first half of last year where they were VERY competitive in every game, I think they're real playoff contenders.

Obviously Ovie will be a huge part of their success... and I expect him to have his best year yet (and the first two weren't exactly shabby)
