God knows I wouldn't mind seeing him miss the Redskins game and that appears to be likely

Agreed, but if the Redskins receivers don't catch the football it won't matter who is covering them.

No, Heyer is still healthy, and he played really well yesterday.
So the Eagles are at a disadvantage.

It sucks that we lost Jansen. It really really sucks, but we got Heyer backing him up! Who does philly have backing up shepard? NOBODY!

But with Heyer in we lose our premier play in
ey who has to stay in to help block. Put the kool aid down for a bit and realize that losing Jon Jansen is going to have a negative effect on this team depending on who replaces him. I really like Heyer but maybe Wade does need to start so we can free ey back up. The coaches have a big choice ahead of them.
We have a brand new LG and either a rookie RT or an injured RT who hasn't played RT and has to unlearn all the LG stuff he learned this offseason. The Eagles are going to blitz the crap out of this line...will we be able to take advantage of that...?

You mean to tell me that we racked up 191 rushing yards against one of the best run defenses in the league with a new LG and a rookie RT, who was a really rookie LT before the game? Didn't they also give up only two sacks? They also protected their quarterback long enough so he could bomb the crap out of that defense! And with 150 rushing yards coming in the second half............I'M NOT PUTTING THE KOOL-AID DOWN!!!!! Heck, you should take a few sips!
Don't get me wrong, Jon Jansen is one of my favorite players on the team. He's also a team leader and a captain..........IT FREAKIN SUCKS THAT HE WENT DOWN! My whole point is that we can still win and we are going to win; AND ITS THAT MUCH EASIER NOW THAT THE EAGLES BEST CORNER IS SITTING OUT!

Before we get to over confident, Philly still has a formidable defense. Our line will still have to face a blitz two out of every three plays. Simple line stunts seemed to confuse our line in the preseason. Let's hope we have all of that corrected.
