I wouldn't say that. He's probably tired of answering stupid questions. The stuff they were saying to him about being "old" probably offended him. Springs will be fine and he's an upgrade over anyone behind him. When he doesn't play, the level of our defense declines. Hell, he could have just been having a bad day. Too much analysis on Springs. Just let him play and perform. If he comes up short, then we'll talk about his future with the team (by the way we did openly try and trade him, wouldn't that piss you off?)

I didnt get that at all.. they were directing questions at him about his age basically saying he couldnt play at an elite level anymore and asking him about everyone over 30 being run out.. poor reporting.. aside from that he seemed in better spirits then Randy Thomas

your overreacting big time.. im sure they were mobbed just after practice and were tired and ready to go home.. he seemd perfectly fine to me

Agreed, the questions were dumb. He seemed to be confidant to me and god knows we need him.

BTW - being in Philly it was really weird to here Harry Kalas do the voiceover for a Redskins video. I am so used to him on the Phillies broadcasts.

I must say that after a hard day of practice, last thing you want to hear is stupid questions.

I think Springs is just chillin out.

I agree they were dumb questions but he did seem alittle odd. He couldnt really look in the eye of the person asking the question. It could have been me but, I have wondered how Springs was doing since he thought he was going to be traded . And everyone knows he didnt like that.

I watched it and didn't get any of the negativity that you must have. Shawn is quiet, and he isn't a "Rah Rah" kind of guy. He knows his job and he will perform it. I didn't sense any negative attitude there at all. In fact if those same questions were directed to...oh...I don't know....Michael Strahan, how to you think taht Strahan would have reacted? Not with a smile on his face I bet!

I dont see anything like hes not going to be a great corner, but it was probably the questions and hes probably tired of them. And really RT didnt some to nice either , so I think its all good

there just aren't anymore questions to ask. As SS said they just need to go out & perform. Each player doing his job, make plays, win.

I think he's a vet who is in the 'business' of playing football. I did think he seemed a little aloof....but he always has to me.

I don't think he's tired of dumb questions....he barely talks to the media.

I don't care about before or after vids...all I know is he looked a HECK of a lot better than he did last year already. I think we all know he's not a 'center of attention' kinda guy, leave that to Cooley and Portis.

Stupid reporters, no wonder Taylor doesn't speak to those morons. I wouldn't speak to them either because I'd lose all my money in fines.

Reporter: Chris, what do think of your diminishing skills?

Me: I saw your daughter in the stands, she's pretty hawt. Oh! And the waffles I had for breakfast were superb.

I didn't see any negativity in his interview. I am with others in the fact that the questions were boring and not very tasteful.
