Hmm, obviously ol' Lance likes to treat his cars like opposing running backs.

And...is there any irony whatsoever in him whining all summer long about how the Bears don't pay him what he is worth and yet he tools around town in a $350,000 Lamborghini??? (Now wrecked).

Briggs says he panicked after crash, reported car stolen

"When it happened, the first thing I did was, obviously, I panicked," Briggs said. "I didn't want there to be a big scene there. And so I left the scene. When I left, I called the tow truck. I also was startled, and I called to report that my car was stolen. Within probably 10 minutes, I called back and accepted responsibility for what I did because it was ridiculous in the first place."

Too much money, that's his problem. If he wants to get in touch I'll be happy to help him out with that....

Ever heard of Auto insurance? LOL Anyhow I am glad we didnt pick him up. He is a great talent though.

I think when a player gets the franchise tag placed on them that is a good thing. Imagine If a player where franchise tagged for five years that would make him a whole lot of money, I believe its guaranteed money as well.

This crap wouldn't be happening if Ditka were still there....

Of course, they'd be getting their butt's handed to them week after week, but, you know, they'd be disciplined.

This guy is looking for a place to happen - personally, I hope he finds it soon
"Reportedly" there is no official record (from 911) of Briggs calling back to "accept resposibility" - but the way the Bears are handling this is also very disapointing My 2 cents

man. :x he deserves a full years suspension, just for doing that to such a beautiful machine. as far as the laws he broke, i could care less as long as he didn't hurt anyone. but picking on such a beautiful and defenseless pasta rocket is where i draw the line.
