still being a teenager living at home. i find it hard to make it to football games. i have yet to ever been to one actually. so when my friend offered me a ticket to go see the Steelers vs Ravens on week 17, i was pretty excited. and i was wondering if i should wear my redskins jersey. i mean they are playing that week. is it wrong to wear a teams jersey to a game that they arent even playing? what do you guys think?

Wear it. You may catch a little grief but nothing like you would in Philly

Wear it, and wear it with pride!! This is America, there's no law saying you have to wear the jersey of a team playing! Go into enemy territory, prepare yourself for a little ribbing, but wear it with pride!

People go to Redskins games in jerseys other than the skins or the opposing team.

Dude, go for it. I wore my Skins jacket in 98 in Baltimore when the Ravens played the Vikings and I was still able to get Jonathan Ogden's autograph.

I got called a posterier hole (not put so eloquently) by a drunk Ravens fan but I still made it out alive.

I usually hit up 3 Packer games every year, living only two hours away, and ALWAYS wear Redskins gear! In fact, I just went to the Packers/Seahawks preseason blowout and wore a Redskins t-shirt

You'll probably get chided for it, but wear the gear. I see Steelers jerseys at Skins games all year long. At least one per game. I've never understood why I always see Steelers jerseys at FedEx when they're not playing, but I guess a lot of them have a similar scenario to you. So I say, get them back - wear the burgundy & gold with pride!!!

Don't do it, there's nothing I hate more than guys wearing jerseys of theams not even playing in the game, but thats me.

I'd only be wary of Philly, other than that, wear it!!

If its not Raiders or Eagles at home than you will be fine. You may get some hecklers but other than that you are good.
