Concern about the offenses' timing

I was listening to the Bram Weinstein show and he was talking about how the offense could be off to a slow start with some of the key starters not practicing. Is anyone concerned with the starting offense getting it's timing together?

I think our players have enough talent to still be effective if their timing is not PERFECT. IF their timing is PERFECT they'd be UNSTOPPABLE!!

Im not. Noone will admit it but I think we are keeping a lot of people out of pre-season because of what happened last year with CP. We'll be fine.

At this point I don't think there is a single team in the league playing all starters on offense and/or defense right now due to injuries, depth chart battles, and hold outs.

Preseason is more of a joke these days than anything. Its more for the guys trying to make the roster than the starters. There is no point taking the risk of injuring a ket starter... ie CP... when the games dont count. The off season, training camp, and practice are suitable enough for professional athletes to get timing down.. have faith, its only the preseason.

I actually have the same concerns that Bram was talking about. I do buy a big part of what he is getting at.

In the regular season, "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME" (a la Herm Edwards).
In the pre-season, "YOU PLAY TO LOOK AT THE ROOKIES....AND TO AVOID INJURIES TO YOUR STARTERS!"
I am not worried one little bit.

I have to say that I am quite concerned about it with respect to a few positions on the field. Guys like Samuels and Portis are proven vets and I'm sure they'll be up to speed quickly upon returning. However, I am very concerned about Wade and our so-called #2 receiver. Wade clearly has yet to adapt to his position and now he is injured. Llyod, who was garbage last year, has missed a lot of practice and if he doesn't step up this season we are going to have a major whole at wide receiver during the season.
