i moved to nyc last october and have been working as a production assistant. today however i had my first gig as a cameraman or "shooter." and what kinda luck was it that being a huge football fan i got to do a live webcast show for nfl fox. it was this media session with all the analysts and broadcasters on fox. terry bradshaw, howie long, jimmy johnson, moose, saragoosa, kenny albert, troy aikman, joe buck..... you get the idea. anyway they just talked about the upcomming season and how they think teams will fair( aikman covered the nfc east and did not hold the skins in high regard).
anyway it was pretty exciting for a first job as a shooter although i dont think i did very well. ive never done work before for a live program as production assitant so doing a live show for the first time as a first time camera man was a little stressful. i hope nobody here on thn saw it and saw my shotty work.
