How'd you come up with your online TheHogs.net Name?

Because inquiring minds want to know -- well, at least I want to know! Some of them are obvious, but some not so obvious; so tell me.
Mine is a mixture of my fave cartoon character [
TAZ - Looney Toons] and my own name [
LAH - She
LAg
H].
I KNOW you crazy Redskins Fans have better stories than mine, so fess up -- How'd you get your name?

Pure 'n simple for me--being a complete newshound and surfing the net constantly for Redskins (and other) news, it was just a natural to flip it over to NewsHog! And it sorta made sense as my title as official news-gatherer for TheHogs.net.

How'd I come up with BossHog?
1. You live with me, it should be pretty self-explanatory
2. It just seemed like the logical monnicker for the webmaster of TheHogs.net
3. Ego

If the Boss wasn't like he was, nothing would ever get done around here.

Is an explanation really necessary?
Anyhow, i picked up the 'freak' part from a guy I used to work with and now it's a common moniker in all my on=line personae.

No RedskinsFreak, an explanation wasn't really necessary for your name!!!

Your name is DEFINITELY self-explanatory! I suspect you grabbed a moniker that many 'Skins fans would want!!!
Thanks for sharing!

Jeez, I feel so left out. Mine is just a child-hood memory, my aunts always told me "you're gonna be a heart-breaker".

Billy boy was the very first player I admired. I started following the Skins in 73...just after the SB doohh!.
My dad was a lifelong Skins fan and when I started understanding football they became my team too. Kilmer's gutsiness just really stuck with me all these years even though Theismann is probably my favorite all time Redskin QB. For some reason, the image of Kilmer and the Bandaid just typified what I felt the Skins should be...Warriors.

My name translates from college days and the informal "frat" moniker given to my freshmen class, still an "Ogre" after all these years.

even though this is an old post, i'll explain mine. i'm not a satanist or anything.

i signed up on the cbs sportsline board as hailskins.... but it was taken, so the computer offered that hailskins66 was available, so i took it. some time later i was talkin complete TRASH to a cowboy fan, and another user said as much crap as i talk i should change my name to hailskins666, which i immediatly did so, and its what i use on every board i sign up for now.

Then 56 for Lawrence Taylor.

I am a Deputy Attorney General (i.e., criminal prosecutor) and I view my primary responsibility is to do "justice" each and every day.
I contemplated the name of "Law Hog"; however, there are a lot of lawyers out there that practice law....that don't necessarily care about "justice".
I am proud of what I do and I can sleep soundly each and every night because I know that each and every day I try to do the "right" thing...playing by the rules and, if that results in me sending a very bad, dangerous person away for many, many years.....all the better!

Never. Well not until he takes issue with me personally.
Then I'll gladly do it... and I'll have talked to Joe Freakin Bugel man.
er, sorry.

Sarcastic Hog lends to my charismatic outlook on everything...

Skinz74 is just logo + birthdate. Maybe when Boss gets everything changed over, I'll be able to switch my name to SH and keep my avatar/posts.
