2007 Terps Football

So does anyone have any predictions for the Terps this year?. I think if Steffy or Portis can step up, it looks like the Terps will be bowling again this year.

Joey Haynos will have a big year if someone can throw him the ball. The qb situation is shady as hell.

Yeah, MD alum here, GO TERPS! FEAR THE TURTLE! 
I think Portis will get the start in week 3, a Thursday night game against West Virginia. They like his talent and skills but say he's been a bit slow to pick up the playbook. He was redshirted last season after transferring from Florida.
But Portis has a strong arm and he's quick, actually set the school record for 40-yard dash time for quarterbacks last year. And with the speed on the outside in Heyward-Bey and Isaiah Williams, they should be able to stretch the field and also open the running game for Ball and Lattimore. I also think LB Erin Henderson will have a big year.
They do have a tough schedule, though, so we'll see. I think a solid QB has been the missing link to a strong team. Hopefully one of these guys will step up and I'd like to see Portis be that guy. But you never know...
