for any writers

I've recently discovered this online, format-free text editor called (appropriately enough) Writer. It's really nice for those of you that are easily distracted or prefer to get as close of a 'paper and pencil' feel while using the speed of typing. It works especially well when (in Firefox)you hit F11 for full screen mode (even better with this extension).
It's probably the most no-nonsense text editor that I've used, certainly one of the easiest on the eyes, and it really helps me be more productive when I need to be.
A similar, off-line program is JDarkRoom, which achieves a similar zen-like simplicity to writing.
I'm not affiliated with either program, but thought I'd point anyone interested to them. I wish I had found these a couple of years ago -- there's nothing I hate more than Word reminding me of its presence while I'm working in it.
