it is all its cracked up to be. i'm completely blown away. it is SCARY fast. so fast, you had BETTER be on open road if you hit those 505 horses. so here it is, my '07 Z06 vette.
at the dealer, right off of the truck

LOL, I thought you had a kid. I was wondering why you were calling your ew born "it", until I opened the thread and seen the Vette of course.

Sweet ride............and the right color!
The Z06 has to be the best "bang for the buck" sports car on the market.
The only flaw with the car is the interior, but with 500+ NA horses who cares!
Congrats you lucky bastige!

thanks on the congrats guys.
but i'm sorry fellas, no camp for this garage queen. it shall stay tucked away safely in my garage. got other rides for road trips.
2056??? no way. too much interest. i looked at financing for 7 and 8 years to keep the payment reasonable. but the interest alone was enough to buy a new work truck. went for six years, even though the payment is going to be over 1300/mo.
nuskins, the Z is by far the best bang for the buck. and the interior is fine with me too. i bought this car for one reason. if i had wanted an interior, i would have gotten a caddy.

Very nice ride bro.
I'd call you an idiot but the fact that you have the new car and still have Amy prove to the contrary.
You could get to Canada in like an hour and a half now.
When are you going to paint it burgundy and gold?

Aww c'mon you gotta drive it on the highway so that the carbon won't build up, that's a valid excuse. lol

It is alright. All it needs is a sticker in the rear bumper that reads:
MID-LIFE CRISIS FAST CURE!
Congratulations!

mid life? i'm not even 30. will be soon, but not yet. so, are you saying i'll die early? if i do, i have NO regrets. i have lived my life to the fullest to this day, and will continue to do so, as long as oxygen flows through my lungs. NO regrets! if i see something i want, i go for it, no questions asked. i've been burned by this approach, but i have also been rewarded by it. some watch things happen, some MAKE things happen. i like to think i fall into the latter bunch.
PS. this is by NO means a shot at RIC directly, you have done more for this planet than i ever will.

maybe my approach is short minded, but as i said, i have NO regrets. besides, i have 505 reasons to grin every time i take it out.... and thanks on the congrats.

No, it is not short-minded. It is called living a life with -conviction-, which adds
one more reason to enjoy life..
Enjoy your
506 reasons.
I also drive a 2-seater, a bimmer convertible. But I can not anywhere come close to match your several -hundred- reasons to be happy. The mid-life line came up because I remembered a joke that somebody told me when I got my car. The truth is that the car has now a nickname: My
Therapist.
It listens to me. It pays attention. It responds to my every wish. It brings me back home -always- with a big smile on my face. The car and this site are my THERAPY to my job.
Enjoy man!

Greatest chassis in its class, precise steering, twin-turbos with little to no lag, around 300 hp of sheer joy, close to past M3 performance but with much better and nicer interior appointments ... Take the coupe even if the sedan is the more practical choice.
Nice choice indeed. A man of refined taste in a different bracket ($) of the car market .
Having said that, our vantage point will be great to look at the rear lights of HS666 black beauty disappear behind the horizon.
