LeBron Has Arrived

For those of you who doubted him (and I would have to count myself in that number), LeBron James put on one of the single greatest performances in NBA history last night. It's hard to explain what watching that game feels like for someone (a la me) who grew up in Cleveland. That is supposed to happen TO the Cavs, not FOR them, Cleveland is the perennial victim on the sports stage.
I got about two hours of sleep last night and I am still thrilled. Drives, dunks, layups, ridiculous threes, fade-away jump shots over three defenders: LeBron is a god.

Agreed. That was a great game last night and an even greater performance by James. That kid has got some skills, noooo doubt!

I mean that actually sums it up pretty nicely, I was just stunned that every single time the Cavs NEEDED a basket in the worst way, James nailed one. The shot over THREE defenders from about 21 feet out on the right-hand side of the key was just wicked nasty.

LeBron James is a great player but falls far short of being a God. "King James" maybe but he has to take his team all of the way to a championship (like Jordan) before I will consider calling him that. He is on his way though.

I caught the game from the beginning of the 4th till the end. I must say, his performance was absolutely stellar. His ability to score at will was sick! Kudos to LeBron.

And to think that just seven days ago, the media was bashing the kid

because he decided to dish the ball to a teammate for the last shot, which, in my opinion, clearly demonstrated how unselfish of a player he is, even though they missed the shot and lost the game. Now he comes back a week later and does this; 25 consecutive points in the 4th quarter and overtime to win the game. Truly amazing. That's one way to flip off the media.
