I thought Duckett only cost us a pick this year?

nope...this years third and next years fourth if i'm not mistaken...it sucks because we weren't able to use him enough (even when we did use him...it wasn't for much at all)
Portis and Betts = 2400 yards + next season

Wow, that sucks.
I sold my POS chevy blazer for $200... if I'd only towed it to Maryland I probably could have gotten some draft picks!
A third-rounder and a fourth rounder for TJ Duckett?

I heard about the third rounder, but now it comes to light we ALSO gave a fourth rounder in 2008 for Duckett? And not only did we not use him in 2007, he's already gone?
Every team in the league must be lining up to do business with the Redskins. Biggest suckers in the league. Like that stupid fat kid whose rich parents bought him everything he wanted and he didn't realize how valuable it all was; the guy you used to trade baseball cards with. LOL.

gimme a break. Yeah the rich fat kid who is a genious business man with the most profitable franchise in all of sports, who was looking for insurance and to field the best possible team while we have Gibbs as head coach. we definetly gave up to much for duckett, but with the uncertainty of portis we made a move.
Give another example where we made a bad
TRADE with another team.
Let's see, in snyder's tenure we did the trade with saints which took us from 5 to 7 which gave us bailey and then arrington and samuels the following year at 2 and 3 coming off of a close 2nd round playoff loss.
How about moss for coles, or portis(and a 2nd) for bailey. Mcintosh and campbell are yet to be determined and I am pretty sure we traded to get cooley also in the third. You could say that the brunell trade was excessive, but he led us to the playoffs and a win in the first round(and yes I am aware of brunell's numbers in the tampa bay in the first round victory) and was the veteran qb that gibbs covets to lead his offense.
In our dealings with other teams we have actually conducted ourselves well.

Who cares? THis year we only had one pick in the first round.
Next year we will have six picks. Three picks in the first round. That is alot better than what we had this year.

Three picks in the first round? I think you meant the
first day, right.
Who cares? Apparently myself, and I hope any true redskin fan.

Yeah, our personnel management has been just awesome dude. That's why we were 5-11 last year with a bottom-of-the-barrel defense. But don't worry, we're Super Bowl bound this year! Sheesh.
I don't hate Snyder because I dislike billionaire businessmen and over-starched shirts. I hate him because as the owner of my team he has consistently fielded a crappy product. Of course we can't fire an owner, so complaining about it is useless. But that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it.
Snider's record as an owner speaks for itself: he has managed to make lots of money, but the team has sucked, overall. Those of us who started watching the team under Williams and Cooke I guess just have this impatience and disgust with incompetence and mediocrity, even if it is well-intentioned. Others seem to think that of course the team is run well, it's just an inconvenient fact to be ignored that the record doesn't show it. So, I know that for a certain segment of fans on here, records mean nothing, since faithful devotion to Snyder seems to be the first priority, so please don't let me interrupt your discussion of the Redskins' shrewd personnel management.

I was commenting on how you said that other teams feel like they can take advantage of the redskins. Then I commented on how are dealings with other teams have actually been one of our strong suits. How you are making a connection to our poor play, to our dealings with other teams, just dosent make sense. We have had played bad because of poor coaching, no chemistry, free agents not panning out to name a few. I personally think that when it comes to trades, we have done a great job, and that is what I was responding too.
Again, that is why I think your comment about likening the redskins to a team that allows other teams to treat us like a rich stupid fat kid is ridiculous.

Oh yeah First day. Look the fourth pick is gone. But we still have the rest of the picks. That is over and done with. Why cry over spilled milk? What good is that going to do? Exactly! Of course I want our fourth back but its gone! Do you get it ! Its gone! So that is why I just focus on the picks we have.
You crying over it being gone does nobody any good!

well herohamo, I think we have a case of miscommunication going on. I thought you were talking about my comment on the redskins being taken advantage by other teams. I am with you about looking forward.
