Great Movie. But Venom ain't dead. Because of the fact that there was no body there. Remeber Venom has all of Spidey's Powers. And Could have grabbed Brock, and lept outa the way. And the Director has already said that there will be a 4th one. And the Venom Story shoulda been the whole movie. And guess what, We are about a third of the way throu it. For one Carnage is the symbiotic offspring of Venom. Cletus Cassady is the Mass Murderer that Carnage choses to merge with. And Cassady was not even mentioned at all in the movie. And they shoulda used someone else as the 3rd baddie in that movie. They shoulda used either Electro, or the Vulture. Saving the Venom story for the 6th, and final movie. But it was a great movie anyway. Just my 2 cents about the movie. But I really enjoyed the movie anyway.

FT - Aren't these considered spoilers? Just wondering.

As for the movie, I was in awe of the special effects, but disappointed by the storylines (plural).

SPOILER WARNING:

I didn't like the way they, in essence, rewrote the story of how Pete's uncle died, just so they could include the Sandman in the movie.

END OF SPOILER

Word of advice: Either check out a matinee showing, or wait for it on DVD, unless, of course, you just CAN'T WAIT.

I liked it but the movie was too congested.

Too much lovey dovey crap.
Too many villians.
Too long of a movie.

They should have axed the sand castle and just focused on Venom who is way cooler anyway. And they made Spidey too weak against Venom. Venom is stronger of course but at least allow Spidey to give him a decent fight without resorting to some abstract means of defeat. Lets get some good ol fist fights going on, screw this uplifting heart warming, we wanna make the under dawg in you feel strong bull crap!

5 bucks was all It cost me. & that was at 7:30 pm. Very reasonable. I happen to know that they got venom right. Yes the Symbiot is that much more powerful. But Like I said Venom ain't dead. And so sorry abou no spoiler warning ok. But they shoulda kept the Venom story for it's own flick.

I don't have any care to see it right now. Last one didn't work for me.

Just saw it last night. Yes, it was long - 2 hours 20 minutes? It was also kinda slow at parts. I would prefer one villian, too, not 3.

I think he should have dumped MJ for the hot blonde myself!

Haven't seen Spiderman 3 yet, but I did just go see Hot Fuzz yesterday... and it was great. Some hilarious parts toward the end of the movie...

Saw both.

(1) Hot Fuzz should appeal to anyone who likes:

- perfect English villages, as in Calendar Girls etc

- British police dramas, detection

- Destry Rides Again (I swear, there was a scene taken almost right from the Jimmie Sewart classic western)

- all current Hollywood movies in which a hero fires two 9mm automatics while jumping sideways. See Matrix or the despicable Tom Cruise Mission Impossibles. Gunshots and glass breaking.

Not just "good of this type" but "great of this type"

(2) Saw Spidey 3. I liked the multiple plot threads. Daughter hated it. Said it was like a cartoon. I replied, but it's supposed to be...it comes from a comic book! So...mixed reviews. Not great, but I've seen lots worse.

i saw it around a week ago it was disapointing for me. too much plot, to much romantic junk and i just thought it was not as good as the first two.

I saw spider man in IMAX. Made the experience better but the movie really wasn't that good. The special effects were pretty cool to watch within the IMAX environment.

OMFG! It was horrible! The original cartoon series was far superior to this dreck.
