Trash Talking - a li'l light relief

Thought I'd post this old Tribune article as it gives a little insight into the kinda thing that goes on in the locker room, kinda tickled me and has some slight Redskin content.
Peppi Zellner. I remember the name, I remember he was an ex-Poke but that is all I remember about him.
Tight end John Gilmore: I haven't really faced too many talkers, man, to be perfectly honest. I don't know how it is in the trenches. [To fellow tight end Desmond Clark] Have you faced a lot of trash talkers? Who was that dude from the Redskins? Remember, he would not shut up? He wasn't even doin' nothin', a couple years back? Big dude.
Clark: Couple years back?
Gilmore: Yeah.
Clark: Aw, yeah, he ain't even-- Peppi Zellner. Zellner, he used to play with the Cowboys.
Gilmore: You sure that was him?
Clark: Yeah, yeah, man, I know exactly who you're talkin' about. He wasn't doin' [anything]. He just kept talkin'. You pile-drived him-- no he tried to get you one time on some ol' sneaky dirty type stuff. Peppi Zellner, somethin' like that. He got drafted with the Cowboys, he was like 6-6, 275, looked like a stud. You look at him, you think he was All-Pro.
Gilmore: That name doesn't sound familiar.
Clark: That's the guy, I'm tellin' you, I know exactly who you're talkin' about.
Gilmore: [to me] You go with him on that.
Clark: [to Gilmore] He was your complexion, he had them ol' crazy-lookin' eyes.
Gilmore: That was probably the biggest trash talker. Dude did not stop talking the whole game.
Clark: The whole game, he wasn't even doin' anything. Anything. Other than that, I don't get too many trash talkers. You'll get some in the heat of the moment, something goin' on, you'll get something. Usually, the guys that talk a lot of trash? Probably not your better players.
