What if we drafted Calvin Johnson from detroit and then get briggs and draft a safety or a lineman with the 31st pick

How'd we get that 31st pick? Especially after trading up to Detoit's spot? If it involves the words 'next', 'year's', '1st', 'round' or 'pick', I'm not interested.

When we trade with detroit we will still have or 6th pick and then trade that for briggs and the 31st

Didn't Chicago already say they're not going to do that deal?

How is that even remotely possible?

Screw it, I'm going to make a rumor that we're trading our 5th round pick this year, and a 7th rounder next year for Peyton Manning.

It's about as equally grounded in reality as your scenario.

Trade what to Detroit for the #2 pick? Is it all of the beach front property in Arizona that Synder owns?

I think that we just need some clarification here. It doesn't really make sense. We have to offer Detroit something within reason and there has been nothing offered that is reasonable for Detroit. Trades have to work for both teams.

Lets just trade for all top 5 picks in the draft .. since we can apparently make miracles happen in getting CJ .. .Briggs and still have the 31st pick .. and you all said out FO was bad -drinking

The No.6 pick is not like anyother pick in the draft, it's not a "TOP 5 PICK, but then again it's the next best thing. That's got to be worth the 2nd pick, I mean it's not the first pick but we'll take it and #31 next to last  they should give us that for missing out on a top 5 spot (it's almost not even a 1st round pick. I'm thinking Briggs and his agent ("the Danny's" buddy) are working on a way that he can play in Washington this year and Lovie will pay for it with all that new money he got.
