You hit the nail on the head here. I think that the media goes way overboard on "covering" these events. I do not want to see a "made for TV" movie on this nutjob. I still hate the media. I challenge them to show something positive. Anything positive. But I will not hold my breath on this ever happening. Just my 2 cents on this topic. Sorry if my rant touched a nerve ok.

personally i feel outraged towards the media in general too thanks DEHOG for what nbc should be held accountable for this . but thats just me i guess.
no nerve struck here cause i feel the sameway as you do as well. the media always puts their own spin on things....

Just got back from the drill field memorial, crime scene, etc. Most media was asking questions about what our community felt about the media's job on this. Everybody pretty much said they sucked. Hopefully they will get the message.

It's the job of the media to report the News. Reporting that a nut job had taken to time to make a video and write some dribble and sent it to the station, could have been read right before going to a break and it still would have been too much time spent on this guy.
NBC will say it was just reporting the News, others will say they did more than just report the News in this case. This wasn't News
