Ok so I have to say that I am happy that Sunjia is gone. I mean that guy really sucks.

I have never been able to sit through the first ten minutes of this show. Honestly, I can't see what all the fuss is about.
I understand how the teens can get into something like that, but there are so many people my age that get themselves so wound up about this program...and I just don't get it.

This season, the "amateur" talent is pretty bad. Sanjaya was entertaining, and I think he will have a run much like William Hung did after his Idol "breakthrough". This kid will make some money following his AI ouster.

I was talking to someone about the show this morning, and she referred to the recently booted singer as Sangina. This is the most accurate nickname I've heard.

I love the banner below. American Idol flavored Dreyers Ice Cream. Thats hilarious.

The only parts of this show that I watch are the first 5 episodes or whatever where all the judges make fun of the crazy people who think they're going to be famous.

Some of them are just weird on purpose. But the serious ones who are shocked that they have no talent bring an amazing amount of unintentional comedy that's off the charts.

I don't get the obsession with the show. My daughters and wife love it. It's not that a little is so horrible it's that it's so repetitive and endless. I get so sick of it being on. Though that'll be a little easier not that Sanjaya's gone, he was the worst.

I caught my oldest son watching it the other day...instead of baseball.

Oh, I think is entirely intentional.

The show just reminds me of Menudo. Is it real or is it Memorex.
