Well, I finally did it.

After many many years, I decided to enter the world of video gaming. Today I purchased a Playstation 3 with the following games:

Call of Duty 3
Formula 1 - Championship Edition
EA Sports Fight Night Round 3
Madden 07
God of War (for Playstation 2, but the guy said this game was "off the hook")
Major League Baseball 2K7
Resistance Fall of Man
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07

Of course, I also got a 2nd hand-held control for another player, too.

So, my next step is to explore each of these games and learn how to play them. If any of you out there wanna suggest other really good Playstation 3 games to me, my ears are wide open.

Thanks, my bruthas and sistas.

Note: The cool thing is that someone that lives around my house has a wireless internet connection and my PS3 is picking up the signal so I can access the internet wirelessly with my unit! Pretty cool.

What made you decide to do it now?

All I can say is if you play any of those games online, you better practice a whole lot. Playing other people is a lot harder than playing the computer. If you like RPG's (Role Playing Games), get Oblivion. One of the top games out there (so I have heard). Also, you can never go wrong with Tekken 5.

I liked video games in my teens but never got into them as an adult. A lot of my friends have them and seem to enjoy them so I figured - what the heck?

The future wife no longer exists. Long long dramatic story.

Quoting Forrest Gump, "That's all I have to say about that......"

It was $599.00 for the console.

Then I got 8 games...at around $50 a pop. I suppose you can do the math on that one.

#-o Damn, sorry about that. I was looking for a smiley with his foot in his mouth but I couldn't find one. Anyway, sorry...

There's no drama involved, JH. Most women would be leery of large, purposely bald, tattooed Redskin bloggers on Harley-Davidsons with fatheads on his bedroom wall of other large, tattooed men wearing football uniforms, who are also avid golf-playing, tailgating, video-gaming, foul-mouthed tailgating cooks who do some bi-lawyering on the side.

You should have taken my advice on the leaky rubber woman...and, with your credentials, you're best served quoting more high-minded films than "Forrest Gump". :)

I, myself, ruled the local diner as a youth playing "Asteroid" and "Galaga".
Nobody came close. It got to where I'd show up for the day with just one quarter. :)
Since then, I've been ruled in every game but "Pitfall" by my son. It's a vicious cycle, my friend. Enjoy yourself.

Okay, let's review:

1. Large - well, yes.
2. Purposely bald - No, I have a full head of hair!
3. Tattooed Redskins blogger - that would be me.
4. On a Harley - Again, me.
5. Fatheads in the bedroom. No, my 2 fatheads are in my file room at my law office.
6. Avid golf playing - "Avid?" Probably not. I just "try".
7. Tailgating - absolutely
8. Videogaming - just starting to do this
9. foul-mouthed - only towards Cowboys and Eagles fans at Fed Ex!

See, I'm not really a bad guy when you get down to it!

Well that's jumping in with both feet. I enjoy Madden (on the PC), and most of those other games are supposed to be great, but I don't know how people play shooters with a game-pad. Mouse and keyboard beat all other controllers for a FPS game.

Isn't that illegal or something, Mr. Lawyer Man?

Umm, if I may interject....

This pic reminds me of you, JH, only with long hair, no tats, tag-team GOLD, and a sweet 80s 'stache.

I guess I need to go into the law profession... when I spell out what I did for electronic entertainment, it goes like this:

"Today I decided to download some new roms for my NES emulator (on my 5 year old dell desktop!) it was awesome, and those 10 year old computer games I bought off ebay will be here any day now!"

haha, that may be a bit dramatic, but I wish I had about a grand to blow on videogames :D
