That's exactly what I thought.

Unlike last year, when I think we had 3 road games against teams coming off their bye week, this year we play nobody after their bye week. I'll take that!
And while we have a short week prepping for Chicago, we'll have an extra couple of days to prepare the game at the Giants. We haven't done too well in the Meadowlands the last couple of years...
All in all, it could have been worse.

And Dallas has six prime-time games. Can I puke now?

yea definetly have to hate that bye in week 4.. but overall this isnt too bad of a schedule.. i love the bears on thursday night.. I think FedEx is a great place for primetime games.. the atmosphere in the stadium is always amazing.. and our boys look good under the lights

A 5-1 start is very doable.

The schedule doesn't look too panzy to me. But the toughest five game stretch, from week eight to week through week 12 - when we play back to back away games against the Pats & Jets, home against Philly, then back to back away games at Boys & Bucs - doesn't come until this team should have a good grip on itself by week 8.

Looks like an ok schedule to me although the bye week at week #4 does us no good. Also as a season ticket holder I was hoping for more 4 pm home games. Pounding beers at 10 am is a little rough.

I like the schedule a lot. There's no reason why we can't get off to a 4-2, or even 5-1 start with the MNF game @ Philly likely the only one of those games will be the underdog in.
I think the Thursday night game on NFLN against the NFC Champions will be an awesome night.
I also love hosting Dallas on the last day of the season. Should be a lot of fun.
Let's just beat Miami on Sept 9!!

There are two things that I dislike about this schedule.......
1. We have an early bye
2. We play a home game on Thursday Night!!!!!!! The DC traffic SUCKS! Its gonna take me 2 hours to get to that stadium!
Other than those two things I LOVE THIS SCHEDULE!
We got Arizona at home and the Lions at home coming off our bye! Those are two guaranteed wins right there! Miami at home to start the season off.....If our offensive starts like it ended last year thats another one! Not to mention we get the Cowboys at home for the last game of the season! TO will have that team blown up by that point!
But the thing I really like about this schedule is that we don't play any teams on the road when they're coming off of their bye! And Thank God for that!

ha lets please not start predicting wins now.. I did that last year and my record for the team didnt come out to be 5 and 11 thats for sure .. Im just gonna wait and see this year.. one game at a time no win in definete

So often the games that look "easy" now end up being tough and vice versa. Not always but often.
Two GREAT things about this schedule are:
1) At Dallas is neither on Thanksgiving nor 10 days later. Those would both be advantage Cowgirls. Catching them the week before levels the field.
2) Final home game hosting them is all we could ask for. Sure hope it means a lot besides pride.

The games that concern me the most are the ones the Redskins play every year- the 6 in their own division. Last year's 1-5 was unacceptable, and it's time to take back their position in the NFC East.
No more getting swept by the Eagles and Giants please...

I think it's interesting the we have the second highest strength of schedule in the NFC, and it's a .500 opponents win precentage.

Crazy, the AFC has the top 14 toughest schedules.

Thank god its at home and we are not traveling. Not that the NFL would do that to us but it wouldn't have surprised me if we were. This will be fun.

let's face it - our schedule is based on a 4th place finish and "the strength of schedule" is based on last year's records - this is how it happens BUT none of the teams we play will be the "same" as they were last year and hopefully neither will we
we do have 3 back to back games on the road - the bye week is early but the schedule early also looks encouraging.
I see no problem with the pukes playing as many games out of the regular time frame as possible - Gibbs would prefer to play all 16 games at 1pm EST

Right now the Miami game looks good "on paper" but overlooking this group will be a mistake IMO - I'll be surprised if Culpepper is their starter and those LBs are going to be tough - this is a very good team defensively.

Their defense doesn't worry me as much as ours might.
