Did we ever have a real shot at signing Dre Bly?Who at Denver calls the shots that get them such good players?

IMO, we never had a shot. Bly was just using the Redskins to drive up his salary.

Bly didn't actually have an opinion on where he was going. He was traded by his team, Detroit, while he was under contract to Denver. A player can not force a trade. There was a chance.
