The Cowboys have decided to relieve Tony Romo of holding duties in 2007.

The next decision the Cowboys make involving Romo could be in regards to a long-term contract extension. No other starters except Jake Plummer also held for field goals last season.

Bad Move

Romo was great as a holder.

What will the do when they find out he isn't a starter

One of the new changes to the league this year will be the well-worked, less shined K balls. They're calling it the Romo rule.
Never before has a botched hold led to so much movement at the executive level.

I wonder if this would have been done w/o Romo screwing up. If it had just been the Bengals would this have happened?

I hope they give him a huge long term deal. The guy had what, 4 good games? Maybe 5?

It's amazing how little a player has to do to achieve superstar status if he's wearing a Cowboys uniform.

See: Jones, Julius.

Well, it's just so easy there. All they do is apply a larger star decal to the helmet. Voila!
