So, I hear the Broncos are still dangling Al Wilson as trade bait and one of the suitors is the Giants. Seems to me that AP has played extremely well for them and both Wilson and Pierce are MLB's only. So, has anyone heard that the Giants are not happy with Pierce?

I saw the same trade rumor on nfl network earlier. I hope the Giants are unhappy with AP. I know I'm unhappy when he plays against us now. Boy it would be sweet to be able to bring him back like we did w/ Smootie.

According to this the Giants would look to move Wilson to outside linebacker. There is zero chance they would trade their best LB, arguably their most important defensive player, especially given the serious lack of depth they have at that position.
Edit: Moved because the Redskins, apart from wishful thinking, aren't really part of this story

Can someone remind me why we are soo inept that we let AP go?

Remember the part where he was a free agent and chose to sign with another team because they offered more millions than the Redskins? That's pertinent

Sadly that is what it all usually boils down to. It is still hard to believe that somebody outbid Danny Boy on anything.....I bet he is devastating on Ebay

Now why are you bringing up facts? It's the off-season.

Saw on ESPN this morning that Al Wilson failed his physical in New York and will put the trade in jeopardy.

I guess the Skins were right, and knew what they were doing when they declined the offer from Denver that included All Wilson. I seriously doubt we get AP back.

Yeah that's kind of strange that the Giants would be looking for another MLB. Interesting...

They were going to move him to the outside, but he failed his physical and the deal fell through. The Gints are looking at
this guy, will probably cost them the same pick (4th rounder) they wanted to use to get Wilson.

If your the Giants, who cares what position AW plays, they need linebackers, a lot of them cuz they are going to have the worst D ever

Takeo is in the same boat as AL Wilson coming off injuries. I wouldnt mind seeing the Skins pick Takeo up. If healthy Takeo Spikes is an excellent backer.

How did you manage to work a Buffalo joke in there?
