Taylor going back to #36?

Fred Smoot said he'd do anything to get his old number back, so does anyone see Sean Taylor being nice enough to give him the old #21? i kinda liked Taylor better in 36 so i wouldnt mind if he did...

I don't know about their numbers, and I'm really not all that bothered. But I have a hunch that Smoot might be good for Sean Taylor. He could be the kind of guy that he feels comfortable with, and could help him to realise his true potential.
Either that, or Fred will aggravate the heck out of Taylor, and there'll be a gunfight at Redskins Park.

I hope Sean Taylor picks a whole new number, so everyone has to buy yet another jersey.

I hope so. I can un-retire my Smooter #21 jersey, and bring back my signed Taylor #36 jersey. All would be right in the world then.

The no. 21 belongs to Taylor I feel he deserves it. He is a pro bowler and has earned his number. Smoot needs to earn it. IMHO

Smoot has already said in an interview that the jersey is not going to be an issue. He maintains he's more interested in winning than what his jersey number is. He say's he'll wear #27.

I agree. It looked like we had a LB in the safety position. Not to mention, I'd like to be able to wear my 36 Taylor again.

i agree.. i liked taylor back there in the 36 and for some reason i dont seem to remember him getting his hips turned so much in coverage when he was wearing #36.. what was his reason for changing it in the 1st place.. i know he wore 26 in college so 36 kinda made sense since 26 was already taken .. never got why he went to 21

Does not matter to me. But, I would have to say that Smoot already had his chance with the Redskin #21 and chose to give it up so I see no reason why he should get it. He should have to wait to see if it becomes available (let's hope it does not) just like Taylor did.

I agree with Fred. I just want to win some football games, numbers are the least worry right now.
