This year's Beach Blitz will be in mid-May. I am wondering - what is the closest hotel to all of the activities? There are a lot of choices to pick from.

Can't anyone tell me which hotel is closest to all of the Beach Blitz activities?

every hotel down at the ocean front is close to the convention center....i dont really think that u could pick one "too" far away.

Okay, I made the move folks. I just booked four nights (beginning 5/17) at the Clarion Hotel. I can't wait!

I'm on a Redskins strike. Except for training camp, and I'm only going there for the THN family reunion.

ill be a the beach bash. 5 minute drive.

If so, I'd definitely like to meet up down there some time! I'm arriving on Thursday, May 17th and leaving on Monday, May 21st.

I don't have the cash flow like you JH. So no, I will not be going. Have a good time for all of us.

I won't be going - all that sand plays havoc with my complexion.

When I go down to Virginia beach, a lot will depend on the weather what transportation I take. I am still hoping to run into somone from THN down there!

The Doubletree is right next to the Convention Ctr.

Anyone out there have an extra spot in the golf tournament they're willing to sell? Know of anyone that's looking to unload a spot?

Was kind of bored and searched a ton of places (craigslist, stubhub, ebay, etc) and couldn't find anything. If I were you, I would just call Redskins Park to find out.

I was offered free tickets by Dominion (they're a client of my employer), but I'm not sure if it'd be worth it. Has anyone been before? Was it fun? Is it something I could take my 4-year-olds to?

Just checked into my hotel - The Clarion on 5th & Atlantic. Awesome view of the ocean! Party at my room tonight beginning at 8:00 pm. Hookers should be arriving around 9:30 PM!!!

The only drag is that I got a really good rate on the hotel because I have to sit through a 90 minute sales pitch meeting tomorrow at 9:00 AM.

i haven't posted here in a while but i'll be there for sure. the virginia beach convention center is literally a 2 minute drive from my office. i just bought an authentic redskins helmet and a gold pen...can't wait to get ol' #26's john hancock on it.
