We now know the match-up. Hoss will be representing the HHC, while RiC is fighting for DHC pride.
There will be no home field advantage for HB II. The game will be played at a neutral location.
RiC and Hoss:
1. PM me your final hognostication (with point total, of course), and I will post the picks here after both have been entered.
2. You are expected to make yourselves available to the fans over the next two weeks.
3. Congratulations on making it this far, best of luck, and may the best hognosticator win.

Which washed-up musician will be doing the halftime show?

Englebert Humperdink and Celine Dion will sing, "Islands in the Stream."

The artist formerly know as Prince -- I think he uses a symbol as a name these days

He's not wasked up. He's sold more albums than Elvis or the Beatles!

Sold is the past tense for sell, which does not disqualify one from being washed-up.
Besides, he was doing those stupid commercials with the gift selection committee. That equals instant washed up status.

He's doing the Superbowl halftime show AND the Hognostications Bowl halftime show?!? Wow. Impressive.

We didn't want to confuse people.

I always thought Prince was a little 'confused'.

1. Colts win, no doubt about it. Rex Grossman is not Tom Brady and while the Bears' defense might be arguably better than the Pats', the Pats know the Colts much better and have better schemes against Peyton. The only question for me is the score. Will Chicago be able to prevent a blow out? Maybe. Will Grossman score as many points as the Bears did yesterday? Probably not. I will PM my score in due time.
2. I am only available at times especially designated as media events. My practices will be closed and no, you are not allowed to ask me what my favourite ice cream flavour is.
3. Thanks and thank you for organising this event. Why did you have to endorse HOSS in that last point though?
Peace and love guys,
RiC

This is going to be an exciting 2 weeks. My main concern is to keep my team focused, but yet still enjoy themselves!
There may not be a need for total points if RiC goes with the team he indicated. I will most likely stay with my gut and steer Da Bears to the victory.
I will review gametape of RiC's regular/post season and send my picks in this week. Yes, Indy has taken 1 monkey off their backs, but I believe there may be a few left.

In honour of SkinsJock, this is worth making a Poll about.
Question: Who do you think will win the Superbowl and the THN Superbowl?
- Da Bears and HOSS, respectively; or
- Colts and RiC respectively.
I definitely stand with my call for the Colts (no matter how lousy Peyton plays, Grossman will be worse).

During the first game I was thinking that if the Saints made it to the big dance, Brady or Manning would likely send a limo to make sure that Thomas did not miss the game - that guy needs a lot of help!
Anyway, the Bears ..... I'm thinking they better get Griese ready, the Colts defense will cause so many problems for Grossman (was he another Spurrier QB?) - also, I do not see the Bears defense being able to control Manning, I'm with RiC and Im thinking this will be a Colts victory by over 14

RiC has turned in his game plan, so as soon as Hoss turns his in, we can all talk about who is going to win HB II.

As rumored, Hoss has officially backed the Bears, while RiC is a Colts crusader. Let the trash talking* begin.
* That's trash talking, not smack! This is ATL, after all.

Congratulations RiC. The best team won.
I guess you're going to Disney World...

Nah, the team with the worse QB lost. Grossman was on my side all along.
No, I am not going to Disney World. I start my trip around the world next Friday.

Was Jocko a prophet or what?

Thanks to JSPB for organising this event. It was fun.

You're welcome, and congratulations RiC. The game went the way I figured it would. I was rooting for the Bears, but the better team won. I loved the rain. I can't remember a bad weather SB.
