According to ESPNews, Matt Millen will return as President/GM of the Lions.

LINK

This is the most inexplicable thing in sports.

He has to have pictures of Mr. Ford in some compromising position which, when you consider Ford's age, can't be pretty.

At least there are a couple of front offices worse than ours. My God, it must be hard to be a Lions fan.

I predicted Millen's hiring would be an abysmal failure, based on the fact that he is quite possibly the stupidest person to ever occupy a broadcast booth (and that is saying something). I was 100% wrong about how long he'd last though.

With the way their offense was playing this year, I think the Lions could make some noise next year, provided they improve their D. Millen sux, but at least he knows the "philosophy" enacted this past season, and he should be a perfect fit to continue it next year. If year two of the "New System" stinks up the joint, kick him immediately to the curb!!!

For those that wanted Calvin Johnson.........forget about it! He'll be gone once Detroit picks!

I don't understand this either. Look at all the coaches that have been fired since Matt Millen has been there and they are getting the same result.

I'm gonna send a resume to the Lions asking for a front office job.

It seems like they will hire anyone and continue to pay them no matter how poor of a job they do?

Do I think I would be a good NFL GM? Probably not. I don't know the game well enough.

But do I think I could do as good a job as Matt Millen? Well.... yeah, I do.

So give me a call Lions!! I'll do Millen's job for half his salary!!
