I'll always have the Redskins

THis is my first post. This is going to sound stupid and cheesy, but thinking about the year gone by i just realized that the Redskins are the one and only constant in my life. I've had good years and bad, moved all over the country (currently in CA), gone in and out of the military, gone to school and back etc.
But nothing beats getting up for a game on Sunday. I'll do anything to catch that game. ANYTHING. Sometimes the Skins piss me of so much because of the stupid stuff they do, but to be honest, they could hire two different head coaches, and use a mule as a punter and I'd still cheer for them. I've been a fan for 20 years (I'm 26), and no matter how crappy life gets, the Skins always bring me back.
Here's to a better season in 2007.

Klanko:
1) Welcome to the site, be sure to check out the
site rules and tour the
main site
2) That's neither stupid nor cheesy
3) You've found a community of fans who share your passion and your frustration and this fan thinks ... knows that 2007 will be much better

Hey don't dis Gus! He was a heck of a punter, no wait he was a feild goal kicking mule.
For those of you to young (or old) to remember, Disney had a movie in the 70's about a field goal kicking mule! That movie just cracked me up. of course I was like 5 or 6 at the time.

Welcome aboard, Klanko.
It didn't seem stupid to me, but even if it did, you wouldn't be out of place. Some of us have made stupidity into an art form. Some have even done it deliberately.

Aw, now I've gone and hurt the cup's feelings. To be fair, I'm still not sure you're doing it on purpose...

My heart still races as we get closer to training camp. I still can't sleep the night before games (which is a problem for the home games since I have to drive all the way from NJ). This is a passion that my daughter is even starting to catch!
