Carter was booked on $500 bond and remained in the city jail Friday afternoon, Irving police spokesman David Tull said.

Tull said a female resident, who wasn't identified, called police around 5:30 a.m. and said Carter was being disruptive. Police then arrested the one-time Cowboys starter after finding him in possession of less than two ounces of marijuana, Tull said.


"It was obvious he wasn't welcome there," Tull said.
