So, I guess we can vote on who we want to send to the Pro Bowl here.

My question to all of you.

As of this very moment, do you really think that any Redskins players are worthy of going to the Pro Bowl this year?

Who? and Why?

No way Sean Taylor deserves to go. Not based on this year.

I'm voting for Mark Brunell! :D

I like Rock Cartwright on special teams maybe?
Marcus Washington is always solid but doesnt have the stats this year he has had in the past.
Cooley - as much as I love the guy, everytime he fights for that extra yardage, I expect the ball to pop out.

Rock, Cooley, Washington

I think that Cooley and Sean Taylor deserve consideration. Cooley is having a solid season and the only tight ends in the NFC with better numbers are Crumpler and Shockey, but their numbers are all very close. Take out Crumpler's 3 td game and Cooley's season as a whole was better. Sean Taylor is first in the NFC and second in the NFL in tackles among safeties. He's also defended 5 passes, forced 2 fumbles, and has an int. And he had that huge play against Dallas to set us up for the win. Other than those two I don't see anybody else even being in the coversation.

I'm not sure if you've watched non-Skins football lately, but there's a guy named Devin Hester so...

But the only Skin who I think deserves a spot is Derrick Dockery.

It may just be because of it's his contract year, but this guy is just plowing people over and is playing with a mean streak.

But I want Sean to get elected just so he can go and knock the crap out of people in game that's full of guys who don't want to get hit.

He leads the NFC in tackles. He made some mistakes this season, but he also made some very important plays for us, and I cant really come up with any other NFC safeties that deserve to go over him.

Randy thomas, Chris Cooley, Sean Taylor

cooley has dropped WAY too many balls to deserve the pro-bowl. i don't feel taylor has played at a pro-bowl level either.

how about ade jimoh on special teams? that's about all i can come up with.

The guy who actually deserves it is Betts. He can't really be considered however--too few games.

I don't see anyone going. Maybe Taylor if they only look at stats, and he picks off a few more by seasons end.

Taylor won't go.

Roy Williams earned his spot before the season began and there's a couple other S's out there who actually deserve it more than Taylor does.

My two picks for Pro Bowl Safety would be Adrian Wilson from Arizona...70 tackles, 5 picks and Hamlin from Seattle (82 tackles, 3 picks, 10 passes defensed). I'd even pick both Minnesota Safeties, Dwight Smith and Darren Sharper, over Taylor. I'd pick Roy Williams over Taylor. He's gotten torched in coverage, but so has Taylor this year. Difference is at least Williams gets a bunch of turnovers (5 picks). Taylor isn't.

I know I always worry about a guy that loses 1 fumble over 3 years and drops an rediculous 3 in 3 years, even if he didn't lose 2 of those.

come on! an average of 1 drop a year for someone that fights as much as he does. just because those 3 fumbles (again only 1 was lost) came last year you people think he has a fumbling problrm. You probably blame him for the INT Sunday (that one was on Jason - TOOOO SLOOOW WITHHH THAAAT PAAASSS!)

BY the way I don't think he has played well enough to go to the Pro-bowl!
No one on the team has.

That is not really a good thing. You never want a DB, even a Safety to have that many tackels. It say your deffense sucks. Either your DL and LB can't stop the run or there are a lot of passes completed on the secondary. Wait they both kind of discribe the Skins D this year.

I think Samuels should and will go. He should go every year IMO. Dockery and Thomas have been excellent as well but don't know if they'll make it. Other than that nobody should go that isn't on the o-line. If cooley closes strong than maybe.
