Well if we just would've taken care of business we'd be in pretty good shape...as I predicted dallas lost to new orleans. Insult to injury. Everyone was like "put the crack pipe down!" well I guess the Skins had the same attitude, an attitude of it's over...instead of the attitude let's handle our business and see what happens...I garauntee you 8-8 would have gotten us in. I'm sick over this loss, this season, and the lack of leadership on this team. I don't even see the point in press conferences anymore it's like "hey here comes the losers talking about how much they 'fight they're guts out' bull. I guess the pessimism was right on, we are a crap team this season and it kills me.

To tell you the truth...I'm not so sure I'd want to see us in the postseason, given the way we've responded to must-win games this season. I know that doesn't sound good...but I don't retract it.
For me, it'll have to be good enough to get the kid some work and see what happens over the summer.

Please, did you think we were alive at 4-8 or whatever?

This was year was definatly in big step BACK from last year and hopefully it was a "welcome to reality" moment for Danny Boy and our organization.

Maybe they will realize that in the NFL you don't buy a championship, but rather you grow together as a team to the championship level.

Like they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

However this year you could say we are broke and hopefully Gibbs and Co. can fix it. And I'm pretty sure they can.

To go 7-9 the Redskins would have to win in New Orleans...

I hate to sound like a pessimist...but.....

a team with a loosing record doesn't deserve to go to the playoff. If thats what your wondering. But our future looks bright in JC and Ladel Betts.

I am begining to think that Champ for Clinton wasn't that hot a trade. We could have been riding Ladel this whole time. Granted he doensn't bring the same things to the table but he been proving that he can be a featured back.

Could be that Betts is easier to block for, too.

Two good games against teams with struggling defenses doesn't make Betts a feature back. Coming into this week the only team with a worse rushing D than Philly was St. Louis. Betts is a very good backup but he isn't a starting caliber back. If he was he wouldn't have resigned here to play behind Portis. Porits is quicker, more elusive, has better vision, blocks better, etc.

WE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD CHAMP. We would be stuck without him and they way this team drafts, we would have had a second or third round compensation pick who would be backing up a 36 year old washed up starter. Just my opinion.
