Bad judgment on behalf of Lavar once, twice, well really many times:
1) Bad choice of agent.
2) Bad choice of fight.
We could add many other bad choices here but why?
Defending the guy that hurt you with his incompetence and negligence and picking up a powerful enemy in the process? You never pick a fight with an organization as powerful as the Union. Never.
He might as well retire. Sad, really.

I think he spent too much time in the Owners Box, after having a star-studded collegiate career. Blame "the Danny" for spoiling him... it made him soft (and a Gnat)

He's just become a moron. He's become a guy that thinks he's more important than he really is. He's a rich man because of the Redskins. He just needs to shut up about them and move on.

If no one cares, why'd you start this thread?

He can't fade away if people keep bringing him up.

patjam is reacting to something LA did, it's not like this thread is why LA is in the news right now

No, but this thread is why he's being talkied about here, on a Redskins site. People should let him fade into the sunset. Since he's left, I've not started a single Arrington thread; what's the point?

You haven't started a single thread about LA? Good for you buddy!
As Fios said, I'm reacting to this chump continually bashing the Redskins. You posted here in this thread so you are contributing also. LA is a jerk and I posted a link to another moronic story about him. I needed to vent as well.
Relax.

I still think that Lavar's agent is at fault, but I'm not in on the details of this whole mess. I personally don't see any problem with Lavar pursuing this thing further, and honestly I can't really blame him for thinking that the Skins were sneaky in their dealings. In my opinion, there's no real innocent party on this issue.

And I think Lavar is having an argument about X millions versus Y millions so I find the entire thing to be somewhat nauseating

Well, there's not much difference in X million or Y million to us peasants, but if I was missing 6.5 million that I believed was rightfully mine you'd see me pursuing it (peacefully, of course) to its conclusion as well.
If Lavar still feels that he's been wronged he's got every right to seek a hearing. This has been long and drawn out, and we Redskins fans have had to endure every new development, but I guess I can't find Arrington
at fault or think that he's an idiot for trying to see some resolution.

He says he is missing $6.5 Million in bonus money, saying it was left out of te final contract. The only problem I have with this is the identical $6.5M bonus located in the very spot of the contract that he says the one is missing.

I think he is just taking shots at the Skins or he wouldn't have tried to connect the Vincent signing to this mess.
He even hinted that NFLPA president Troy Vincent was involved in the conspiracy, since he signed with the Redskins on Oct.16, less than a week after he was released by the Buffalo Bills.
"He ends up in Washington with a good deal," Arrington said. "It just seems like the whistle doesn't want to be blown.
ROTFALMAO

We bascially paid Arrington all that money to run around free on the field, where he made some good plays once and awhile.

Arrington was good and at times he was very good, trouble was he just had a little difficulty doing what the coaches and the defensive schemes demanded he do. His abilities were great but they did not seem to include being where he was supposed to be
all the time.
He could have been a better player for us if he had really tried to fit in with all the different coaches and all of their different requirements. That dedication to playing within the systems that were being coached is on him - that is why he is a player and he gets the opportunity to make the money that he was getting. You have to do what the coaches want you to do and not complain about all the different people that you played for and with.
Good players fit with any and all players and coaches - great players excel with any and all players and coaches.
Off the field he seemed to always be looking for a place to happen
