Classic. The G-strings had a 21 point lead with 10 minutes left. Then they had Young caught for a sack on 4th down, and the guy just let him go. He scrambles for 17 yards, or something ridiculous like that, picks up the first down and gets out of bounds. Amazing!!!!!

I saw the end of the game! And that was the best ending I've seen since Novak made the field goal against Dallas!

Several players have "called out" Tom Coughlin and said he has been out-coached in numerous games, players including Shockey, Burress and Tiki. Several were fined by the team and Coughlin said they shouldn't air-out their dirty laundry in public. So what does Coughlin do? He calls out and criticizes Eli after the game to the media. What a bone-head move and serious hypocrite!

Every awful, dreadful loss; every head-shaking, stomach-turning collapse. Every choke and embarrassment and mind-numbing defeat no one ever saw coming that suddenly rose up and sucked the life out of an entire franchise.

Light some incense and summon up the evil spirits that caused The Fumble back in 1978 and the historic San Francisco playoff collapse of 2002. Round up the hit-list of worst moments in Giants lore and then find room for the atrocity that was yesterday's 24-21 loss to the Titans at LP Field.

"We're going to be sick about this one, forever," coach Tom Coughlin said.

There is no rational explanation how the Giants could surge to an easy 21-0 lead midway through the second quarter and then, without any real warning, turn into the Keystone Kops without the comedic value. In the last 9:35 of the game, the Titans outscored the Giants 24-0. Miraculously, Tennessee piled up 10 points in the last 44 seconds of the game - thanks to yet another ridiculous Eli Manning interception - getting the winning points on Rob Bironas' 49-yard field goal with six seconds remaining.

It couldn't happen.

"I think only in a nightmare, maybe," center Shaun O'Hara said.

But it did happen, and the Giants (6-5) now take a three-game losing streak into Sunday's supposed NFC East showdown with the first-place Cowboys.

"A terrible shock to everybody in the organization," Coughlin said. "There's no excuse. There's no sympathy. There's no nothing."

This may be the day the NFL points to as the coming of age for Tennessee quarterback Vince Young (69 killer rushing yards, one touchdown run, two TD passes), which is a terrific story for the Titans but means nothing but heartache to the Giants. They were rarely able to lay a glove on the rookie dervish, and even when they did, they let him out of their clutches.
